Tombo House

The breakfast food was very nice and the hotel, pool and surrounding forest were lovely. The hosts have obviously gone out of their way to make the place that extra bit special.

The only small negative was that our room was dark. You couldn’t close the windows without shutting out the light. Monkeys and mosquitoes made it necessary to keep them closed.

- L’hôtel est un oasis verdoyant hors du temps, très calme et un peu à l’égard des gros hôtels de Diani. - Les propriétaires allemands sont bienveillants et toujours prêts à partager les bons plans. Le personnel est aussi serviable et agréable. - Les chambres sont immenses, propres et neuves. Toutes sont équipées de moustiquaires et de ventilateurs, celles du nouveau bâtiment ont la climatisation contre supplément mais ce n’est spécialement nécessaire. La literie est confortable. - Le petit-déjeuner est composé de plusieurs pains fait maison, de confitures, beurre de cacahuètes, fruits frais, et d’autres accompagnements. Des crêpes et des œufs sont préparés à la demande.

- La localisation de l’hôtel peut paraître bizarre au début

Ubytovanie je krasne, čisté, moderne zariadené izby. Posteľ bola veľmi komfortná aj s moskytierou a úžasny výhľad do záhrady a na bazén. Ranné a večerné výhľady boli očarujúce a aj kúpeľňa bola priestranná a s peknými výhľadmi. Ranajky považujem za skvele, rozmanite a naozaj kazdy si pride na svoje. Bazén zasadený do krásneho prostredia plný zelene a poskakujúcich opíc. Voda bola príjemne tepla a upokojujúca fontana ako bonus.

Na raňajkách sa personál moc neusmieval co uberalo na celkovej atmosfére. Jednu výhradu este mam a to k politike prideľovania az 1 fľaše vody cca 0,7 dcl na izbu a potom si mate možnosť zakúpiť v bare predraženú vodu. Príde mi to na takýto vysoký štandard ubytovania ako neštandardne, kedze sme boli na Diani aj v inych ubytovaniach nižšej kvality a samozrejmosťou bolo bezplatne nalievanie si pitnej vody z prístroja na recepcii v tak horúcom prostredí alebo nam dali 10 l fľašu priamo na izbu. Nemyslím si, ze by to ubytovanie ekonomicky položilo.

We loved the pool , food , bedrooms and the gardens with monkeys playing . It felt very safe

It is a little way from the beach so transport is necessary. We used a combination of Tuktuks and motorbikes which we hired from the local chap - this added to the charm

Eine der besten Unterkünfte die wir in Kenja hatten. Alles war sehr sauber. Das Areal ist weitläufig und somit verteilen sich die Gäste gut. Es ist jedes Detail mit Liebe eingerichtet. Das ganze Team ist sehr zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück wird frisch zubereitet und in einem Kühlschank in Gläsern portioniert. Haben wir in der Art noch nicht gesehen und es war fantastisch. Die Unterkunft wird von einem deutschen Pärchen liebevoll geführt. Sie arbeiten mit einem Tucktuck-Fahrer zusammen, der auf Anfrage (gegen Bezahlung natürlich) einen überall hinfährt. Sehr zu empfehlen ist die Fahrt durch das Zentrum, der Stop auf dem Markt und die Werkstatt mit den Kunstarbeiten, um das Business und das wahre Leben kennenzulernen. Es war beeindruckend wie freundlich alle sind.

Es gab nichts. Es war alles perfekt. Schade das wir nur 2 Nächte da waren.

Tembo House was absolutely beautiful! The food was delicious, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The location is truly unique, offering stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. Highly recommended for an unforgettable experience in Kenya!

Reposant et en symbiose avec la nature. L'accueil est également agréable.
