Villa Fauna

We loved our stay here. The staff were the highlight, they were so friendly and sorted out a bike for us and organised a tour to Udawalawe. The breakfast and dinner they cooked us was delicious. The property is in a beautiful quiet location. Our room was serviced everyday and the property was very clean. I would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Fauna. Perfect location – quiet yet central. Breakfast prepared on request was delicious and the rooms and the entire property are very well-maintained and clean. The staff was great, which made our stay even more enjoyable.

We had an amazing time at Villa Fauna. The villa was incredibly comfortable and beautiful, quiet and completely surrounded by greenery. The staff was super nice and took very good care of us. Every morning we had a delicious breakfast and could easily rent a scooter through them. Thanks for the great stay, we will definitely be back!

Great place! Location is nice, a couple minutes from the busy roads. Nice pool to chill and very nice staff! Great value for money!

Perfectly located on the best side of Ahangama, 5-10 minute walk from beach and restaurants but tucked down quiet side street so you feel very secluded. Beautiful garden and pool with lots of wildlife (monkeys, lizards, bats, even saw a snake). Lovely friendly and helpful staff. We didn't eat there because there is just so much to choose from in Ahangama but food sounded good. There's a fridge of beers and soft drinks for self service which was handy.

The room was a bit smaller than I expected. There was no kettle in the room which was very disappointing, especially as this was the most expensive accommodation I stayed in Sri Lanka yet it was the only place not to provide one. Air con wasn't super effective, room was still quite warm, but just about did the job! The upper rooms have a wonderful terrace but no furniture to sit on, only one bean bag per room - some small tables and chairs (and kettle in the rooms!) would elevate this property to be perfect.

This was my third time staying at Villa Fauna and it never fails to feel like a home away from home. The staff are amazing and friendly, the pool is pristine, the rooms are kept immaculate and serviced daily, and it’s in the perfect location- easy walk to the Main Street but far away enough that it’s a peaceful oasis in the trees.

Beautiful and clean rooms. Good location, not far from the beach, quiet environment. Very kind staff, warm people. You can order breakfast and dinner at the hotel, or just near it there are some other good options.

Really great location, hidden away from the madness of the main road, but close enough that everything is not too far away.
