Villa Sun Rising

Wow, what an incredible welcome to your island-nation!!! My room was impeccably clean, lovely and well equipped with everything I needed. Though I didn’t need it, I appreciated the access to the kitchen and washing machine. The porch sitting area is tranquil and quite perfect with the ceiling fans to move the warm air. The turtle sunrise walk was a special experience. Thank you for lending me the yoga mat to practice in the garden. But my favorite was your gentle demeanor, friendly hospitality, and INCREDIBLE, authentic home-cooked meals. This quick stay in Unawatuna will never be forgotten. Namaste.

The tuk tuk “tour” was more like a simple ride across town than a tour. For a “tour” and the price I paid, I expected more of a guided experience where your father explained the way points and the town. Still nice though.

Villa Sun Rising was a lovely place to stay! The host was super kind and made us feel welcome right from the start. The room was comfortable and cozy. We had a traditional Sri Lankan breakfast included, which was amazing, and the dinner we tried was also incredibly tasty—especially for such a small price and he even made us a vegetarion option. Everything about our stay was relaxed and enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Al mattino nel momento in cui stavamo andando mancava l’acqua dalla doccia e dal lavandino.

To bym na prawdę miło spędzony czas w tej willi. Przede wszystkim ogród, który jest piękny i zadbany. Pokoje czyste i dość duże, tak jak łazienka. Gospodarz to bardzo miły człowiek, który chętnie uraczył nas rozmowami o Sri lance oraz innymi ciekawymi historiami. Bardzo dobrze czuliśmy się w jego towarzystwie. Śniadania bardzo pyszne, a dodatkowo zamówiliśmy kolację, która była przepyszna i koniecznie polecam

Tesis kaplumbağa plajına çok yakın. Temiz, konforlu çok güleryüzlü ve yardımsever bir sahibi var. Gönül rahatlığıyla konaklayabilirsiniz

Il ragazzo che ci ha accolti è stato fantastico, fin da subito ci ha voluto far sentire a nostro agio con un drink di benvenuto e facendosi una chiacchiera con noi. È stato davvero molto disponibile, addirittura ci ha fatto rimanere nella stanza fino alle 16 nonostante il check out fosse alle 12. Nella struttura è possibile cenare e degustare una colazione tipica. Siamo stati bene! :)

Our host was absolutely incredible. He helped us with everything we needed from Tuktuk, beach towels, directions & breakfast in the morning. The room was clean and comfortable. We had a lovely stay. Thank you so much :) chan & Alice

Very nice, communicative, and helpful owner. We were very warm welcomed by him and his wife. She can make a tasty dinner which we tried. Location close to the beach where you can find turtles.. Room and bathroom were clean 👌 nice garden and a rest area near the room.

There is a dog which the owner made us aware of - we didn't meet it but I was always little bit scarried when coming out/in the our stay area. P.s. they close dog for the night so that is good so you don't have to be afraid 👍
