Aloe Vera Guest House

La guest house e’ immersa nella natura,piante ovunque,veramente bello! La camera è molto semplice con un tavolo uno specchio e un letto. Stessa cosa il bagno. Il proprietario è veramente una persona per bene, mi è venuto a prendere alla fermata del bus la sera e mi ha accompagnata a prendere la cena. Con lui e suo figlio ho fatto le escursioni fuori da Dambulla e mi sono trovata molto bene. Colazione veramente molto molto buona,la cena è un po’ scarna di opzioni ma di buona qualità. Terrazzo circondato dal verde,bellissimo mangiare lì! Non ho avuto nessuna difficoltà pur essendo da sola, il proprietario e il figlio sono veramente persone educate e rispettose!

non c’è la zanzariera nella camera ma hanno fornito il diffusore contro le zanzare. Magari un asciugamano in più farebbe comodo!

Herath und sein Sohn haben alles getan um mich in ihrer Unterkunft wohlzufühlen. Als ich nach einem Moskitonetz fragte, wurde sogar eigens für mich eines besorgt und montiert. Die Lage ist absolut ruhig, umgeben von Natur. Herath hat ein eigenes Tuk Tuk mit welchem er oder sein Sohn mich herumführten. Auf den Weg zum Nationalpark sind wir auf der Straße sogar Elefanten begegnet. Heraths Frau war gerade im Krankenhaus und somit kam ich leider nicht in den Genuß ihrer Küche. Abendessen wurde von auswärts geholt. Frühstück war gut und ausreichend. Es war die 1. Unterkunft in Sri Lanka wo ich Warmwasser hatte. Vielen Dank euch beiden, habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt.

Camerele sunt dezgustatoare. Pozele sunt frumoase dar realitatea este alta. Pline de mucegai, este locul ideal data vrei sa faci astm bronsic. Micul dejun foarte saracacios nu este ca in prezentare cu optiuni Locatia este departe de templu, nu sunt 1,8 km asa cum spune in descriere, este in padure, traseu plin de caini, necesita transport. Dar iti poate chema el un tuk tuk la preturi de turist evident. Dupa ce ne-a preluat de la templu l-am rugat sa tracem pe la piata sa cumparam fructe, evident cand am ajuns acolo a facut un semn discret vanzatorilor sa ne incarce la pret . Pretul fructelor ajunsese sa fie de 7 ori mai scumpe decat in mod normal Sri Lanka. A incercat sa ne impresioneze spunandune de mai multe ori ca sotia este in spital si face o operatie la ochi fix in ziua aceea. Dupa ce am plecat de la cazare am primit notificare de la Booking ca proprietarul a dat rezervarea anulata prin neprezentare. Nu recomad niciodata aceasta cazare, oameni care par amabili dar de fapt inceara prin viclenie sa te stoarca de bani, tipic multor cazari din Sri Lanka. Fi atent ce cazari iei daca iti doresti o vacanta fericita!

I highly DO NOT RECOMMEND this hotel, especially for single female travelers! The hotel owner is very intrusive from start to finish. He tried every day to convince me to use his services as a driver, since all the facilities are very far away and I will not be able to reach them myself, BUT THIS IS NOT TRUE! At the same time, it was sometimes optional, and one day he just didn't come for me at the appointed time, I waited for him for 20 minutes on the road, then just took another tuk tuk. He constantly wanted to take more money than was stated. As a result, even my laundry bill included his expenses for a taxi there and back, although this was not discussed and I'm paying for it for the first time. The most unpleasant thing was that on the last night before I left, he asked me what I didn't like, I told him and he started looking at me very angrily, I felt that he could do something very bad. It was very unpleasant and scary, I wanted to get out of this place as soon as possible. The room smelled of mold very strongly! Крайне НЕ РЕКОМЕНДУЮ этот отель, особенно одиночным путешественникам женщинам! Хозяин отеля очень навязчив от и до. Он пытался ежедневно убедить меня использовать его услуги в качестве водителя, так как все объекты находятся очень далеко и я сама не смогу до них добраться, НО ЭТО НЕ ПРАВДА! При чем иногда был необязателен и однажды просто не приехал за мной в назначенное время, я прождала его 20 мин на дороге, потом просто взяла другой тук тук. Постоянно хотел взять больше денег, чем было заявлено. В итоге даже за стирку в счет мне включили его расходы на такси туда и обратно, хотя это не оговаривалось и я с таким стакиваюсь в первые. Самое неприятное было то, что в последний вечер перед моим отъездом он спросил, что мне не понравилось, я сказала и он начал очень злобно на меня смотреть, я чувствовала, что он может сделать что-то очень плохое. Было очень неприятно и страшно, хотелось поскорее убраться из этого места.

The owners are lovely, although a better level of English would make the communication much easier. The whole ambience of the place is really nice, a bit secluded, nestled in jungle plants. Such a romantic and charming setting, that I decided to stay for a second night. The room is cute, it's clean and well maintained. They accomodated to my dietery requirements for the breakfast, which was really nice of them.

A mosquito net for the bed would help a lot. My second night I couldn't sleep much because of the mosquitos. They offered to pick me up on arrival, wich sounded nice, but it was actually a bit of a hassle, as I had to wait for them to find me. You are better off just grabbing a tuk tuk from the street, it might be cheaper also.

Nous y avons séjourné lors d'un épisode très pluvieux, de ce fait, la chambre était humide et une odeur s'en dégageait. Malgré leur sympathie et leur accueil, nous avons trouvé le personnel beaucoup trop insistant concernant les activités et les services proposés. C'est dommage car cela complique les rapports avec nos hôtes.

Hôtes très courtois, ont tout fait pour nous aider. Nous ont facilité les démarches de visites. Petit déjeuner de qualité, cadre tout à fait charmant. On recommande !

Nejvíce jsme ocenili terasu, která byla obklopena zelení, což velmi zpříjemnilo nás pobyt. Dále chci pochválit welcome čaj a snídaně, které byly moc dobré. Majitel nám také zařídil půjčení skútru (3000 LRK/den), který nám byl dovezen přímo na ubytování.

Přehnaná snaha nabídnou nám doplňkové služby jako byl třeba celodenní výlet s tuktukem. Někdo to možná ocení, ale my jsme měli vlastní plán a obtěžovalo nás majitele neustále odmítat. Na pokoji chyběla moskytiéra, což byl celkem problém, jelikož komárů tam bylo velké množství. Lokalita ubytování je daleko od města a do centra je možné jet jen tuktukem nebo jít podél poměrně frekventované silnici.

La camera era molto accogliente, pulita e dotata di aria condizionata e bagno in camera. La famiglia che ci ha ospitate è stata super disponibile e gentile, ci hanno preparato colazione e cena e abbiamo organizzato con loro il tour della città e dei principali templi in tuk tuk. Veramente consigliato!
