Wild View Stay

The hotel owner was super nice and helpful. We asked him about safaris in the different national parks around and he organised it all for us for the next day and it was right what we wanted! You get varied breakfast and can eat it in the beautiful garden, where we once had a view on a wild peacock. Great value for your money!

The room is a bit small, but clean and A/C works fine but a bit loud maybe.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My stay at this place was absolutely spectacular. The food was incredibly delicious — authentic, fresh, and full of flavor. Every meal was a highlight. I highly recommend it. The location is perfect if you're looking to experience the real rural side of Sri Lanka, far from the tourist crowds. You’ll find beautiful rice fields, jungle roads, and plenty of wild elephants. The best way to explore the area is definitely by tuk-tuk — it lets you soak in the surroundings and connect with the locals. A truly special and authentic experience. I would come back without hesitation.

Very friendly and helpful, lovely food, kindly arranged pickup from train station and for a packed breakfast when we had an early start for Sigiriya

We decided to book this place because it's located within abundent trees. It turned out that we were neighbors to wild monkeys. And the owner told us there was an elephant visited just 2 days ago. The owner is very helpful in helping us booking nearby Safari, SPA and even helped us book a taxi+driver/tourguide for our week long trip in Sri Lanka. We really appreciated his help.

It would be more pleasant if we could be told the price for Safari when confirming with the hotel owner. Or we would not be surprised how expensive it was when the Safari staff picking up in the next morning. It would be more responsible to make sure the rental taxi is in good condition so that we wouldn't be worried to be moved to another two other cars during our 7 days trip. Also the drivers could be more honest about things relating to our itinerary.
