The Rezt

The Rezt offers you a cozy bungalow with a great private terrace all for yourself in a quiet area of Ella, yet close enough to the city center and Ella's attractions. The owners are lovely and will treat you with a lovely breakfast every morning.

The humidity in the bungalow is quite high, but this seems to be a general issue in Ella due to the weather.

By far the best place we stayed on our travels. Amazing, quiet setting just 5 minutes walk to the main town. A rare experience, but the actual accommodation was even better than the pictures on arrival. Attention to detail with the decor was excellent, and also we thought the first aid kit was a really nice touch. The ambiance in this setting was 10/10. Family run, the host lives just across the way. She is super friendly and offers a really reasonably priced laundry service. Every morning we had a beautiful breakfast brought across the road to us. We cannot recommend this place enough.

Good and quiet location but only a 5 min walk to the the centre. Its not just a room its like your own little house. The host was super friendly. Thank you !

The location of this guesthouse is very convenient, all restaurants are walking distance. We could also walk directly to the little Adam’s peak and the nine arches bridges. The bed is comfortable and there is a mosquito net. Good place to stay and enjoy Ella, thank you!

The room was really spacious, and the bed was extremelly comfortable, it was perfect for a good recovering after the treks.

great stay, lovely very spacious room with great outdoor area. loved waking up to the nature sounds in the morning and was perfect distans away from town (5 min walk) in a quiet area. Nice breakfast and easy check in/out. would def recommend!!

there is no proper ventilation in the room so we needed to keep the doors open, you could feel the humidity. Not the greatest water pressure for the hot water but nothing that would stop me from staying here!

+ very spacious and clean room + spacious terrace to chillout + very friendly and helpful owner + big and delicious authentic Sri Lankian breakfast + location in the middle of the nature / Jungle surrounded by green, off from all the Tourist stuff but still very good walkable + excellent laundry service

- due to the high humidity the bathroom and partly the room can be moist - probably a problem you will have in all accomodations here

Lovely little guesthouse for a great price! we loved our stay here! It was clean, the bed really comfortable, it smelt nice, there was hot water and the lady who runs/owns it lives over the road so is available if you need anything. She brought us a delicious breakfast each morning and helped us sort out scooter hire.
