Wat een prachtige ruimte met het meest geweldige uitzicht dat we gehad hebben tijdens onze reis in Sri Lanka. In eerste instantie weet je niet waar je terecht komt. Je ziet een in aanbouw zijnde ruimte. Maar verscholen achter een grote deur ligt er een waar paradijs. De toerit naar de accommodatie toe is erg stijl maar de gastvrije eigenaar brengt je graag met zijn tuktuk naar de grote weg toe. Het ontbijt wordt met liefde voor je klaargemaakt.

Alles beviel aan de accommodatie maar er staat een waterkoker maar er zijn geen kopjes en water. Misschien zou dit een kleine tip kunnen zijn.

Our stay in Ella was not completely satisfying. The location of the house does not allow you to move around easily in the evening, and you always need to take a tuk-tuk to reach restaurants or the town center. Since PickMe doesn’t work in Ella, this makes things even more complicated. The house itself is truly beautiful with a breathtaking view, but unfortunately many types of insects come inside, especially in the evening. During our 3-night stay, we couldn’t sleep well and at times it even felt a bit scary. The cleanliness was disappointing as well — the house was not properly clean and no housekeeping service was provided during our stay. On the positive side, breakfast was excellent, one of the best we had in Sri Lanka

Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Het uitzicht over Ella en de bergen met bossen vanaf het balkon beviel ons erg goed. Het verblijf was heerlijk ruim opgezet met voldoende zitgelegenheid. Over het spoor loop je binnen een half uur naar Ella en indien gewenst kan je verder doorlopen naar de Nine Arche Bridge. Om 05:30 stond de eigenaar met de Tuk Tuk klaar om ons naar station Ella te brengen voor een spectaculaire treinreis naar Nuwara.

De verlichting in het leefgedeelte van het appartement was onder de maat. Er waren wel stroomdraden in het plafond aanwezig maar helaas nooit aangesloten. Kom je met de auto dan kan de weg naar het appartement lastig zijn. Het is er erg smal en loopt steil omhoog.

It was a very nice place to stay, also the view was so amazing. We had a couple of frogs in the bathroom because they climbed up the pipe but it didn't bother me. The hotel owner drove us into the city after checking out, that was very kind. The room was really nice designed and the bed was also comfortable. I would take the same hotel if i would come back.

Vista eccezionale. Personale davvero molto accogliente e disponibile: abbiamo trovato chiusa la stradina che porta al b&b per lavori in corso, ma i proprietari sono stati fantastici, perché hanno preso le nostre numerose valigie e ci hanno accompagnato fino alla camera con tuk tuk. Colazione perfetta servita direttamente in camera. Posizione tranquilla e lontana dalla movida di Ella.

Tutto nella norma, peccato solo per il piccolo rospo trovato nel lavabo al nostro risveglio. N.B. Servirebbe un’ulteriore tenda per coprire la forte luce al mattino presto.

A beautiful location with spectacular views. Sanjee was an excellent host and made our stay in Ella, not only did he host us but he toured us around Ella in his tuk tuk too. Beautiful breakfast!
