I originally planned to stay for just a few days, but I ended up staying for an entire month because the place is absolutely addictive. It pulls you in like a magnet. The convenience is unbeatable since everything you need is nearby, and having a bus stop right outside the exit made exploring the city incredibly easy. It was the perfect base for my long stay.

The only real disadvantage is that the place is so comfortable and well located that it makes it very difficult to leave. I found myself extending my stay over and over again because I didn't want to move on.

Everything and everyone at the property was exceptional from the owner sudesh was so helpful trough out my stay from recommendation of good local food to the last day when I had to take the bus and the food at the restaurant in the hostel is amazing the chef Pathun made me some amazing local dishes and the location is great bus Sto to hikkaduwa or gall just opposite the hostel and the view from the terrace is the plus bonus with some amazing sunset do not think twice just book at brothers beach

Straight at the beach. The private room/own bathroo. with balcony is super small. I didnt even know where to put my backpack. The bathroom was a bit off and dirty. Staff was nice. I extented my stay and had a simple room on the bottom with shared bathroom. Much better! More room there for backpack and stuff.

Nice view to sea , peaceful

Food prices are high for the quality—there are far better and more refined options nearby. The rooms are unclean and poorly maintained, and the staff are loud, unprofessional, and lack basic hospitality standards. More seriously, the room door lock was not functioning, and staff entered my room multiple times without knocking or permission. This is a clear violation of privacy and a major security concern. I even suspect my belongings may have been tampered with. Overall, this place shows serious negligence in both service and safety. Not recommended, and I expect appropriate action to be taken.
