A unique place, as if I had travelled back in time. Highly aesthetic, romantic. Staying at the hotel was a gift for my partner and we had a fantastic stay. The host is a wonderful person, I really appreciated our morning conversations at breakfast. A place worth returning to!

We hadden wat last van geluiden van buiten. We sliepen aan de voor kant. Ramen hadden we open.

The location of the accomodation is very good. The extravagant furniture and decorations.

Unpleasent incident: At 10:45 pm, the light suddenly went on in our private bathroom, which we had locked from the inside, and suddenly the host came through the bathroom onto our private balcony, which really startled us. He wanted to ask us if he could lock the front door of the house or if we were still going out. However, it is not okay to enter guests' private rooms without warning, especially not through a locked private bathroom. Afterwards we felt unsafe but luckily had booked for only one night. From the other reviews we could see that similar situations had happened to other guests. Leaving: When we left, the host's shoes were on the very steep stairs. It would have been easy to miss them and fall. In addition, the front door was still locked with the bolt locks, which a small person would not have been able to reach. Some others things: Besides that there was no WIFI and only cash payment available, because the internet was down. The curtains did not darken the room well, so we woke up early. Some glasses stood upside down on a silver tray, already sticking to the tray and leaving a dark rim. Some pillows and a towl had stains.

location is great (5-10 mins from station); the owner Josh is very kind and welcoming; breakfast was lovely (we chatted for over an hour!); the room was so unique and full of character and the bath was an absolutely perfect size for 2. Will definitely be recommending it to friends and family!!

A little more in the way of clothing storage would be great, i.e. hanging space, but otherwise there's not much more to suggest. we arrived by bike so to have storage indoors would have been great but we understand space is limited in the city centre!

We left some items in the hotel. But the owner did not contact us to send it back to us.

The sauna was really nicely designed, would definitely recommend as it is very cozy and interesting. Furniture is unique. The view is nice, we were celebrating New Year and we could watch fireworks from the terrace. The host was polite, he offered us oliebollen when we moved in. The fireplace was very nice and gave a lot of comfort to our stay. Overall the room is great.

While the room is great on its own, the bed was not so great as it had dusty corners and bedsheets had lint and a few hair. Nevertheless, the host gave us a discount based on this concern, and generally he was very friendly.

The room was amazing it had everything we needed. The owner was fantastic and went above and beyond to help us. We'll be back next year xx
