The location is fantastic, at the very edge of the old city center. The collection of available facilities, particularly in terms of the kitchen, are extensive and well-documented on-site.

The kitchen was quite messy during my stay; I'm sure this is not due to the proprietor, but the other guest(s) who had been or were staying. From a staying-for-work perspective, it would have been nice if the room had offered a place to work.

De 'B&B' (zo wordt het genoemd ook al krijg je geen ontbijt) is in een leuke, rustige buurt. De gastvrouw, een buurvrouw van de eigenaar, was ontzettend aardig en gaf leuke tips.

Het was daar ontzettend koud bij binnenkomst. De thermostaat zit op slot en kan alleen van een afstand worden bediend. Je hebt daar zelf geen invloed over (alleen aan / uitzetten van de radiator). Ik kreeg geen antwoord toen ik de eigenaar daarover een bericht stuurde. De gast- cq buurvrouw heeft uiteindelijk wel contact gekregen want de kamer was wel warmer toen we terugkwamen eind van de avond (anders waren we gewoon naar huis gereden). Ik vond de kamer niet geschikt voor 2 vrienden of collega's. Ook al heeft het 2 aparte bedden, in onze kamer stond de douche in de hoek en bood nul privacy. De kleine slotjes op de kamer deuren boden onvoldoende veiligheid. Van de binnenkant alleen met een gammel haakje op slot te doen (de buitendeur heeft wel een goed slot). Al met al voor 1 nacht oke, maar niet voor herhaling vatbaar.

Perfect location, Oosterpoort is a nice quarter with a village vibe. Beds were good.

It was cold when we arrived! Had to contact the owner to put the heating on. He said he didn’t know our time of arrival, but he could have asked or get the temperature comfortable at 14.00 as that is the earliest arrival time. Room has a (private) bathroom in the hallway, I didn’t like the walk through the kitchen and passed the other room. There were ropes to put on, but still. Kitchen next to the door (that doesn’t close too well) makes it as if the other guests are in your room and when they leave the light on it’s irritating.
