Good host, sleep near the water is cool, the breakfast was good

The room is small, even compared to other Dutch hotels. The space for the shower, toilet, and sink is too tight. The TV is really small. The restaurants are within 30 minutes walking distance and not in a nice area. Driving to Gouda is only 5 minutes but you have to pay for parking if you find a space.

Luxurious, light, very spacious accommodation in great setting overlooking a lake. Owner very helpful and friendly.

No milk available on evening of arrival so couldn't make a cuppa but mentioned to owner who provided it in the morning. ( I think most visitors have black tea/coffee) No nearby restaurants within walking distance - need to go into centre of Gouda which meant getting back on our bikes after a full day of cycling. However, great restaurants!

Quiet location, nice view, comfortable bed, excellent breakfast.

Could have done with information about how to find the property using public transport. Bus no 2 from station stops at De Wadden, a short walk over the bridge to the property. Google maps says to get off at the stop before, giving a long and complicated walk.

I loved the location along the lake. The owner was so kind with us. The early breakfast that he came to leave in the kitchen when we were sleeping was a plus.

Really nice place and comfortable. We were a family of four and we really enjoyed it. The house is just next to a canal and you are able to sit outside watching the floating ducks!

The kitchen is not private as the owner says but I did not expect to have the owner inside without any warning first or at least a knock on the door. Also the door that separates the kitchen from the rooms has not key to lock it, so you don't feel like being private. Nevertheless the owners are very kind and hostile but we needed to feel more privacy

Everything was perfect nothing more to add.
