We enjoyed the time in Ercolano so much, we never actually went to Naples.^^ Ercolano is very sweet and thanks to the hosts we learned about the best spots and restaurants in town. They even organised a rental car for us for our trip to the Amalfi coast! How awesome is that! Thank you, it was wonderful to stay with you. :)

Martina was fantastic to deal with, providing information and assistance before and during our stay. Location is perfect, around 10 minutes walk to Herculaneum archeological site, 15 minutes to the larger Ercolano Scavi train station, or a few minutes to the closer Ercolano Miglio d’Oro station (note if using the closer station you need to buy a ticket in advance). The area surrounding the apartment has a good selection of restaurants and bars. Off street parking in front of the apartment with access via electronic gate. Large, clean room with super comfortable bed and decent ensuite bathroom. Well appointed shared kitchen with cooking facilities and fridge. Lovely and comfortable shared lounge / dining room. Large terrace to the rear of the property (unfortunately it was too wet to use when we visited). Generous (sweet) Italian breakfast included with coffee from espresso machine. Wifi worked well during our stay. Overall we are more than happy to recommend this accommodation to others and would definitely stay again if in the area.

Only suggestion would be to consider changing or removing the movement-triggered lights outside the bathroom which were quite jarring when they were activated.

Martina is an excellent host. Texted detail info for train stations and how to get to the unit and welcomed us on our arrival. She also baked lovely goodies for breakfast. There is a fruit and veg shop as well as a Spar right outside.

Just be aware that kitchen and living area are a shared space but it was large and comfortable to this was not an issue at all. also be aware that not all trains stop at Ercolano mile d’oro station.

Our hostess was so helpful and kind. She really went out of her way to make sure that our stay went as smooth and as comfortable as possible. She gave us very good tips regarding our day trips and had an assortment of fresh pastry waiting in the fridge for our next morning breakfast.

We shared a common kitchen as well as a living & dining combo room with a family (2 adults and a little child). Our party of four was not expecting this, but it was not a big problem because we had to leave early anyway. The appartment has 3 rooms and 3 bathrooms which is very suitable for 2 couples and 3 single people (2 big beds and 3 single beds).

The room was clean and the host was friendly

The walls are too small and l could here the neighbours talking with their children screaming and shouting especially at very early morning. The last day, l could not sleep because the neighbor decided to watch a movie till 2 am and l could list the movie.

Everything was perfect! Specially that the owner was so helpful and patient as we arrived very late after our bus was delayed 1:30hr. Breakfast was good (you can make your own Italian coffee). Nothing to complain 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

public transport stop quite early in Naples, as the place is located outside and you are not travelling by car be careful with times, taxis are very expensive to get there as well.
