Flora’s B&B

Flora's B&B was exactly the accommodation we were looking for during our 5-day visit to Amsterdam—a quiet, comfortable, and beautiful retreat that's still very convenient to the city. Here are some things we loved: The Property: Surrounded by canals and greenery, and populated by a small flock of sheep and two friendly golden retrievers (Leia and Luca), Flora's is an oasis of idyllic calm. The Room: The rooms are quaint, comfortable, and efficient in the Dutch style. Our daughter loved her lofted bedroom w/ladder access, and we appreciated our private patio seating area that overlooked the sheep pasture. The Breakfast: Breakfast is served at your convenience in the beautiful, shared dining room—where massive windows overlooking a lovely garden bathe the room in natural light—that's adjacent to the accommodations. Each day there was coffee, natural orange juice, fresh-baked croissants, soft-boiled eggs, yogurt and fresh fruit, hard rolls, plus sliced cheeses and meats. It was a feast for the eyes, as well as the stomach, and started each day off on the right foot :-) The Location: Located on a residential street in Landsmeer, a quaint suburb just beyond the city limits of Amsterdam that's surrounded by the Ilperveld nature reserve and the Twiske recreation area, Flora's feels far from the crowded city while still being super convenient to it. The town center—with several restaurants, as well as both Jumbo and Albert Heijn grocery stores—is a 5-minute walk south. Public Transport: From Flora's, it's just a 3-minute walk to Bus 319, which takes you directly to Noord Metro Station, from which the city center is just a few stops away. The public transport is safe, comfortable, clean, and supremely reliable. Travel time to Centraal Station is approx. 20-25 minutes.

Flora est une hôte attentionnée, toujours disponible pour nous renseigner. Le logement est très propre et vraiment bien situé pour rejoindre le centre d'Amsterdam. Délicieux et copieux petit déjeuner !!!

Extremely comfy place with adorable view to friendly sheeps - listeting to them eating grass while drinking tea, was a therapeutic vacation.Flora is great host and cook,she fed us very well 😁 Huge suggestion to explore nature around Landsmeer with bike,it was the nicest part of our trip Wonderful,peacefull,comfy place,we hope to visit again!

Meine Tochter und ich hatten ein tolles Wochenende in Amsterdam. Fernab von der Menschenmenge konnten wir die entspannte Atmosphäre in Floras Unterkunft genießen. Der wunderschöne Garten mit viel Liebe zum Detail lädt zum Entspannen ein. Floras Frühstück ist sehr liebevoll zubereitet. So kann man einen Tag gut starten. Liebe Flora, vielen Dank! Wir hatten so ein schönes Wochenende. Wir konnten viele Eindrücke sammeln und auch Ruhe tanken.
