Terrific breakfast Host was so warm and welcoming and very helpful. Discounts on restaurants for dinner, suggestions for things to do and see. Bed was very comfortable. Perfect place in an excellent location.

Absolutely everything! So much attention to detail - stylishly decorated with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We were very pleased that, although the room was on the small side (not a problem as we knew this when booking), the bed was still huge and felt so luxurious. Breakfast was amazing! Jaap was a lovely host who is clearly a natural in hospitality and is so helpful - a great guy!

"A dream of a stay."

A gem of a place -- lovely, elegant decor everywhere, both in the rooms as well as in the dining room. The dining room overlooked an enticing garden area. It's the ideal romantic getaway, and in fact there was a newly married Dutch couple among the guests. Our host served a bountiful, tasty breakfast, and was so very helpful in giving advice about Giethoorn (thank you Jaap!), as well as being accommodating about check-in and check-out instructions. I would come back again and again.
