Oomes Huus - Sleep by Hästens, Wake with Coffee

Very friendly owner, thanks Rob for accommodating us at your B&B. Location great, parking outside. We had a large room with en suite, clean, very comfortable bed. There were tea and coffee facilities, a fridge, cutlery and crockery, TV in the room. Breakfast basket served downstairs in the morning which you’re welcome to help yourself to items; fresh bread, jams, yoghurt, cheese, ham etc. Really lovely stay on Texel and wouldn’t hesitate to return. About 7 min drive from ferry port.

Some of the paintwork a little worn but this doesn’t make a difference to the stay!

Very generous breakfast basket supplied for our stay. Our room was very nice, spacious and with comfortable seating for us to use. Bed was very comfortable. Host looked after our luggage at no charge while we enjoyed the island before we left in the afternoon.

Due to a slight misunderstanding, host wasn't there when we arrived. Luckily some other guests took us in and let us sit with them until the host returned.

The location is fantastic, and Rob helped us get to the main must-see walking sites as well as collected us from the ferry. Rob and Joke are amazing hosts which make you feel at home. Definitely a great place for a weekend getaway!
