"A lovely place for an island stay on Waiheke."

The Kiwi House is a bright, modern and comfortable guesthouse, conveniently located to the beach, shops, and buses to and from the ferry. It has lovely decking areas where you can sit out as well as a nice dining area for eating in. It’s definitely a good place to stay on Waiheke Island.

I found it a bit strange that there were no staff or owners on hand. While I was only there overnight, I thought there would have been someone there to ensure guests were okay and there were no problems.

Beautifully decorated, great location and a very calm vibe overall. Winner!

The upstairs twin would benefit from a few hooks or hangers to put wet clothing or special items - not a big deal though as there was a huge deck!

Location and outlook lovely. Never actually saw a staff member, check in key on counter but very quiet and had no issues.

There was no tv ( which is fine in good weather) There was mosquitos in the room and the plug in was empty. They could have had free biscuits with the coffee in your room.
