Quail Farm, Colonial charm

The location is very quiet and peaceful and the farm has so much to see and enjoy. Rachel has thought of everything from oil for the BBQ to a complimentary roller ball of sleep oil. So much attention to detail with our name on the entrance gate, sprigs of jasmine and lavender in the room, homemade body spray, welcome letter, blankets for cool nights outside on the deck, fluffy dressing gowns…and so much more to mention.

Nothing, was perfect!

Our host bought us a little basket of homemade bread in the mornings (still warm) it was left covered in a little basket, a wonderful present in the morning. We already had cereals, orange juice, milk, tea, coffee, homemade jam and marmalade in our room in the fridge. Our lovely host had provided lots of lavender products to try and Epsom salts for the outdoor bath which was wonderful. Peaceful location really helpful and knowledgeable host who was readily available if you had any questions or just wanted a chat 😊

We loved all of it the peace and quiet, the lovely birds and friendly chicken that came to see us.

It was very hot, although there was a fan I felt like I couldn’t fully relax, air conditioning would be an amazing upgrade to the place

The Quail Farm is in a seriously peaceful area, all quiet, real relaxation to forget all jobs. There are quails, chickens, and other birds in a top lavender farm. Rachel is a fantastic host, everything is impressive in the farm. The quality of the breakfast is truly amazing, natural, handmade. Highly recommended to all travellers.

The property was so peaceful and beautiful. The cottage is so adorable. And I don’t think I’ve ever been so relaxed as I was in the outdoor tub. Host was accomodating to our needs and the walnut bread was delicious

The bed was extremely squeaky. I think the screws need tightening
