"Tranquille, quiet and comfortable. A hidden gem."

What’s not to love? The Garden Room is attached to the host’s residence by accessed by its own entrance… but you would never know anyone else was there it was so peaceful and quiet. So quiet in fact that we could hear the very quiet clock ticking! The room was well appointed, with a glorious shower and comfortable bed and the supplied breakfast was lovely. A quick 5 minute drive into Te Anau township - the perfect launching pad for our Milford Sound trip.

"Preparing for Doubtful Sound."

Comfortable and clean with a lovely garden outlook. Jane and David were welcoming and the property was located just a few minutes drive from the town centre. Just a 20 minute drive to and from the jetty for our Doubtful Sound day trip.

"Wonderful!"

The Garden room was super comfy & lovely & clean. The views out to the garden were gorgeous. The breakfast supplies were good. The location was perfect being less than 10 minutes into Te Anau, perfect as one morning we had to be on a tour at 6.30am! Jane is a wonderful host, very friendly & she takes excellent care of you. She tidied up for us every morning which was a lovely gesture. We were very wet after our Milford Sound trip & Jane kindly washed all our wet hiking gear. She even tried our hiking boots over night in her airing cupboard! Thank you,

"Peaceful stay way from the town."

The garden room had a lovely view of the garden. The room was smartly decorated and the facilities were good. Bed was comfortable. Loved the sheets. Having breakfast provided was a nice touch. Heated towel rail was a luxury. The property is stunning to walk around.

A little isolated but as we were using it as a base to get to Milford it didn’t matter.

Lovely, peaceful setting! Would love to try the Tiny House on the property next time.

It was a bit hard to find initially, but the property was well worth it.

Very clean, beds were comfortable in a great location in the countryside with beautiful views and a lovely garden. It is about a 4 minute drive into town, which is perfect for both peace and convenience, I would definitely stay again, fabulous place.
