Riversong

The location was certainly "rural", but that was what we wanted, so no problem at all, and it was excellent "value for money" (i.e. it wasn't expensive) but was very comfortable indeed with great facilities - including both a shower AND a bath, as well as having a separate toilet.

In addition to full access to the well equipped kitchen, it was also very nice to be able to make tea and coffee in our bedroom area, and the water provided in the fridge there was so fresh and nice, however we turned off this fridge to sleep, as it was a little bit noisy.

Picturesque location and relaxed atmosphere, the hosts are very friendly and helpful. It was really great to be able to use the well equipped kitchen.

The room and property was very clean and tidy. My partner and I enjoyed the remote location and large property space to explore. We enjoyed being out of the township in a more rural setting. The hosts Andre and Sonje were a lovely, friendly couple and we even joined them at their local Sunday Church before we returned to Tauranga.

Cosy home. They had the fireplace on when we arrived and the room was warm. Dark surrundings great for stargazing!

This was the most comfy, cozy and welcoming stay for us in NZ so far. The place is a gem, the nature around is beautiful, the room and facilities super comfortable and the hosts are lovely and welcoming!

Fantastic people and a comfortable room. They also let us use their washer/dryer which was very kind.

There wasn’t a breakfast. It’s also a little uncomfortable walking through the living room all the time. Maybe add a second exterior door on the other side of the house?
