Tempest on Wanaka

Location was great, homemade breakfast was such a treat, very roomy for 3 people.

There was nothing that we did not like about the property!!!

Wat een parel van een B&B! Gerund door een geweldig stel, met passie en plezier. Geniet van het heerlijke, veelal zelfgemaakte ontbijt en een koffie van de gecertificeerde barista zelf. De kamer is enorm groot, met zitbank, hangstoel en heerlijk bedden. Je ziet de bergen in de verte, terwijl je toch niet ver van een grote variëteit aan eetgelegenheden bent.

We konden geen punten vinden die ons niet beviel.

Rent och snyggt, stort rum med plats för 3 personer. Bra frukost.

The room was very comfortable with ensuite and great shower. The breakfast was also lovely. Lin makes her own muesli, bread and muffins which are delicious! Hot breakfast is also great…Chris made us feel very welcome with information on the area.

Very nice B&B, owners were very nice and helpful. Good shower, water pressure and hot water. Good wi-fi. Provided good breakfast.

Chris and Lin were excellent bed and breakfast hosts. We enjoyed having breakfast with them each morning. They provided plenty of food and were keen to offer eggs, croissants, or coffee on request (Chris is even a certified barista). They helped us with laundry during our stay and they quickly identified something that we left behind, which we were able to retrieve after we left. They are both talented and wise people that anyone can learn a great deal from. During the day, our hosts gave us space and always respected privacy. Location-wise, this is a very good spot. A walk into the heart of the town is very doable. If you want to stay somewhere in Wanaka where you can meet two locals and learn from them, this is the place for you.
