Tempest on Wanaka

Our hosts Mr and Mrs Tempest were extremely friendly, helpful, and welcoming. We had breakfast with produces right from their garden. There was home made jam, granola, coffee, and bread. We had a wonderful time.

Nice and clean place, central located in Wanaka. Lin and Chris were friendly and helpful hosts. We have enjoyed our stay.

The breakfast was excellent!! Our hosts Chris and Lin, were warm and friendly and very accommodating. Good location with an easy walk to the town center with restaurants and cafés.

Nothing

The main bed is a super king size and very comfortable. The room has a nice blend of modern and vintage design. It is also very clean.

We thought this room had a separate entry, but it does not. The landlord couple lives downstairs, and there are three rooms available for rent upstairs. During our stay, there was another couple next door on the same floor. They were nice and quiet, but sometimes we could still hear sounds from the other bedroom.

Almost nothing. It’s a B&B in a residential area.

Almost everything. The owners were weird. We didn’t feel comfortable and welcomed. This is definitely not a place for people who want great hospitality. No fun.

A lovely comfortable room in a beautiful home, close to town. The hosts were welcoming and informative. Bonus features were having our own fridge and tea, coffee making facilities!

Chris and Lin are great hosts! We had a lovely stay. The breakfast is delicious. Beds are comfortable and room is very clean. Lin wrote us her chocolate cookie recipe! So kind of her. You will love the place!
