Sequoia Steps

The place was clean, beautiful, and cosy. All the small touches also made our stay feel more like home away from home. Last but not least, the garden is absolutely stunning. Mel and Shane are friendly and super hosts

Very nice garden and very confortable appartement.

Lack of daylight because the appartement is situated in the basement and surrounded by vegetation. Breakfast is a bit light and mostly based on sweet aliments (cereals, fruit yogourts, sirop fruits...)

Beautiful decor- very homely. Beautiful outdoor setting and lovely hosts. Especially loved the gorgeous pets.

A beautiful, private and peaceful setting with wonderfully attentive hosts. A very spacious area and well appointed. The continental breakfasts were very generous and thoughtful. Will definitely stay again.

cooking is limited to a microwave but for a short stay that is plenty

It was a continental breakfast with very generous quantity of quality meusli amd serial with fresh fruit/canned fruit and juice. Plunger coffee, various teas, milk bread and jams for toast. Excellent heat pump heating much appreciated in 0c overnight temperatures.

Well presented, with a wonderful garden and great hosts. The breakfast was good too. Excellent value for money.

There was nothing not to like, we had a wonderful weekend.

Beautiful accommodation, with every detail considered to make the stay cozy and comfortable. The lights in the gardens are magnificent, the decor is gorgeous, the bed luxurious, and the continental breakfast impressive. ✨️ Thanks Mel and Shane for being great hosts- we will be back to the lovely Taranaki and Sequoia Steps 🩷
