Breakfast was fabulous with a wide variety of choices expertly prepared and served on a trolley. Caroline was a warm and charming host making us feel very welcome in her home. She provided a wealth of information about local sites to visit.

Breakfast was tailored to our needs - we set off for our day well prepared! the host was very considerate and helped us with directions. We felt comfortable and at home there. It wasn't far to walk to the cathedral and surrounds - the centre of town. What a bonus! This was the last stop on our tour of the south island so we were tired - it was a great resting spot. Great for retirees!

Lovely welcoming host. Home away from home with plenty of space. In a beautiful heritage part of Nelson. Great area for short walks. Very peaceful area.

Fantastic breakfast, perfect location to Nelson city and a beautiful garden. The room connects to the main house, but you don't even notice as it feels as if it is it's own place. Great for exploring the local area. Appreciate their wealth of knowledge.

The TV didn't get the NZ Rugby match, it's a small thing but would have been nice to have. Also, ask the host to keep politics to themselves, we were there for vacation, not to dive into politics. But don't let that sway you. Great couple, great lodging and amazing location.
