NLRIVA is een heerlijk B&B op het eiland Carenero. Er is een fijn, ruim en overdekt terras en er is een zwemsteiger met ligbedden. Je kunt lekker zwemmen en je ziet er bijna nog meer vissen en zeesterren dan tijdens de snorkeltour. Eigenaresse Ania ontvangt haar gasten heel hartelijk en maakt iedere dag een heerlijk uitgebreid ontbijt. Het lekkerste ontbijt dat we in Panama hebben gehad. Een schaal vol verse vruchten, broodjes met jam en een keuze tussen yoghurt met granola, wentelteefjes, gebakken eieren of een omelet met groenten. En daarnaast koffie, thee en sap. Er is ook een drinkwatertappunt op het terras. Ania helpt graag met leuke tips voor restaurants en activiteiten en boekt als je wilt een tour voor je. Fijne kamers met prachtig uitzicht (maar geen kledingkast) en een prima badkamer (wel zelf shampoo/conditioner meenemen). Vanaf RIVA kun je met de taxi-bootjes voor 1 dollar pp naar Bocas Town op het hoofdeiland (een tochtje van 1 minuut). In Bocas Town zijn veel meer restaurants dan op Carenero en je kunt er ook (elektrische) fietsen en scooters huren. Op Carenero zijn aan de oostkant mooie strandjes en je kunt er wandelen langs het strand en door de jungle. Wij zijn drie nachten gebleven en hebben een heerlijke tijd gehad.

ESLo que más nos gustó del Hotel RIVA, fue que te encontrabas como en casa.. ya que la actitud de Anía la dueña de trato cercano y directo fue fabuloso… la limpieza y el desayuno y la habitación un 10.. lo recomendamos

USDEThe host is very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was just amazing with fresh fruits, juice, bread and huge tasty omelette (you can choose other options too!). The room was very clean, cozy and the whole hotel area is beautiful! We definitely recommend this B&B!
CAAnia’s place is immaculate. The room was very clean as was the rest of the property. The breakfast was absolutely amazing every morning and I felt more like I was staying with a friend than renting from Ania.
The room is nice but it’s pretty basic for the price. Nowhere to put your clothes or sit, apart from the bed. I’ve learned this is common in Bocas but just a heads up there’s no shampoo or conditioner.
