El trato de la dueña. Se ha portado increible, tuvimos un problema el último dia para coger un ferry y hizo todo lo posible para ayudarnos. Siempre con una sonrisa!

Amazing place, beautiful location, maria and her son John were excellent hosts! Food was so good (especially the pumpkin/beans in coconut!!). Highly recommend this place, would stay here again for sure!

Just perfect family-run place where you can do snorkelling directly from the shore. Amazing number of coral fish right there. The family cooked excellent dinners and helped us organize trips to Limasawa Island and other snorkelling hot spots in the area. People in towns are friendly and atmosphere always very relaxed so we had just the holiday we were looking for.

The room was big in size and bathroom was also good size and great shower with plenty of pressure! View was excellent and the best thing was the family makes you feel really special and the food was really great and there was a good selection of choices! Every day fresh from the market on your plate, and ms Maria makes the best Philippine food I had during that Holliday. And you can decide what time you want to eat and thats great when your going diving or site seeing. They have a motorbike for rent so it’s easy traveling and visiting other places in southern Leyte.

Nothing to complain

Amazing place! Beautiful views every morning because the garden is directly on the sea 🌊 Clean and tidy house. Also Maria the host is lovely, she organised 2 rental motorbikes, told us the beach to visit and cooked breakfast and dinner every day, so everything is easy. 10/10

Nothing!

We liked everything! So many things stood out. Our host, Mareeya was so much fun to talk with, laugh together, etc. She had the perfect mix of being attentive but not being intrusive during our stay. The facilities were clean, the location is good for snorkeling and scuba diving in front of the property. There are probably 15+ other dive locations within 15-30 minute ride. Multiple beaches, whale shark watching, local restaurants, etc in close proximity. Excellent breakfast to order at the time we preferred, (Western and/or Filipino foods), reasonabe prices for lunch and dinners there were delicious. They have a relationship with a local dive master that trained and certified my Filipino fiancee on site. (Enclosed pool training and open water) He brought the rental equipment to us and he was happy to allow me (AOW certified) to join the open water training/testing/fun dives.... All at Portofino Homestay) Overall, I highly recommend!

Nothing major. The wading from the resort to deeper water because of the bigger rocks could be improved. The good news is they are already in the planning stages of solving this minor issue.
