B&B Casa di Giò

The apartment is in the old center and just 15 min walk from the station. Ideal for 1, max 2 people. The owners are very nice and caring. Breakfast mean stuffed fridge with fruit, juice, milk, yogurts some cheese, ham and bread. Enough for 3 days stay. The top is the fact, you are in real touch with Bari Vecchia. The beach is within walking distance (20mins) by seaside. What I appreciate is the appartment has no tv. Thank you Daniela for having me. Really a place worth to consider when in Bari.

The only item I can think of (just to give the info to other travellers) is that the towels and swimsuits had not dried. The place has no balkony and inside waa a bit humid. Since I had a short stay, it did not bother me though.

Mein Aufenthalt in dieser wunderschönen Unterkunft war einfach rundum gelungen. Vom ersten Moment an habe ich mich sehr wohl und herzlich willkommen gefühlt. Die Besitzerin ist eine unglaublich freundliche, aufmerksame und hilfsbereite Person, die sich wirklich darum bemüht, dass sich ihre Gäste wohlfühlen. Die Wohnung ist sehr angenehm und die Lage einfach perfekt – direkt am Anfang der Altstadt, sodass man alle Sehenswürdigkeiten, Restaurants und schönen Ecken von Bari schnell und bequem erreichen kann. Ein ganz herzliches Dankeschön für den warmen Empfang, die Gastfreundschaft und die schönen Empfehlungen zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten und Monumenten in Bari. Ich habe meinen Aufenthalt sehr genossen und kann diese Unterkunft von Herzen weiterempfehlen!

Everything was georgeous, close to everything. Bus and train station is about 10-15 minutes. Clean is perfectly, bed and pillow are very comfortable. Thank you Daniela and Gio!

Fantastyczna lokalizacja, idealna baza wypadowa do zwiedzania miasta. Wspaniali gościnni właściciele, bardzo życzliwi i pomocni 🙂

Absolutely beautiful and cosy apartment right in the centre of the old Bari. Comfortable bed, amazing bathroom/walk in shower, and well equipped kitchenette. I arrived in Bari on the train and it was an easy more or less straight line walk down the main shopping street to get to the old town and the apartment….i really appreciated the location as I am an older lady and walking is not always easy for me. I was welcomed by the lovely Daniela, who showed me around the apartment, gave me lots of information, including a walking map of the old town, and provided a multitude of snacks, meats, cheese, bread, juice, milk…and wonderful fresh fruit (much of which comes from her own land). The apartment is within east reach of grocery shops, and of course all the restaurants and entertainment you could want are a few steps away. It is also a long stroll or a short bus ride along the seafront to a smallish beach(l did not venture to the larger beaches a little further from the town) I kept the large doors a little open during the day to let in light and fresh air, but due to the location this did not detract from the coolness of the interior….even though day temperatures were in the high 30’s. I would have no hesitation in returning to this hidden treasure🙂
