We stayed in a lovely, double room with an extra sofa-bed that we didn't need. The bed was comfortable and we had use of a wardrobe, A/C and an ensuite bathroom. We had our own set of keys and could come and go as we pleased. The host provided us with bottles of water in the little fridge in the kitchen and told us he lived upstairs, so we could ask for anything if we needed it. There is a shopping centre right in front of the house which is handy as it has a variety of shops, a supermarket and a few cafés too. We rented a scooter during our stay and we were able to park it at the house, inside the courtyard at no extra cost (it was a mechanical gate for which we had a key) - this was great as we knew it would be safe overnight. The accommodation is a little out of the way but if you have your own transport it really is an ideal place to stay and we would highly recommend it!

The host provided us with a very simple breakfast every morning - I guess it's typically Italian but it wasn't very varied - we were there for 4 nights so it became a little repetitive to have the same thing every morning (packaged pastries, packaged croissants and packaged toast (rusks), coffee and milk), nothing fresh, no fruit... there were some yoghurts but that's it. The accommodation is really lovely but it is quite out of the way - there is only one bus (it says 2 but only one ever turns up) that comes twice an hour but as we arrived on a Sunday, it was once an hour, so this was a bit frustrating. To get back we had to use an alternative route and then walk as the service stops really early - if you want to stay out past 10 pm you'll have to get a taxi. The 2nd day we rented a scooter so we didn't have any more issues but it's important to keep in mind if you're planning to depend on public transport. On our last day, we asked for some extra toilet roll but we were out all day; when we returned the roll had been left inside our room on the bed - we thought it was a bit odd that the host had unlocked the room and entered, instead of leaving it in the hall, or leaving it in the kitchen with a note... We didn't particularly like this as all of our stuff was everywhere in the room and it felt like a bit of an invasion of privacy. It's not a big problem but just something that we didn't really appreciate.

Very friendly owners and really nice place.

Everything was clean and we slept soundly.

Location isn't that convenient to much but ride for dinner not to bad.
