The property was at walking distance from the beach and amazing restaurants!

Everything was great!

After a long flight, when you arrive tired at this accommodation, all the exhaustion disappears. Everything is spotless, smells amazing, and feels incredibly cozy — both the room and the bathroom. Even without breakfast included, we found cold water, coffee, and many kinds of croissants kindly prepared by the host. This warm welcome refreshed us so quickly that we immediately went out to explore the area. The street is peaceful, yet full of restaurants and shops, and both the port and the beach are very close. We walked there until late evening and then happily returned to our wonderful accommodation. I also read reviews saying that taxis from the airport are expensive, and that is true, but there is a very easy and cheap alternative. Bus number 8 leaves from the left side of the shuttle station where hotel shuttles pick people up. It comes every 30 minutes and takes you directly to the center of Fiumicino. From there, you only take bus 4 or 5 for a few stops. The whole trip costs about 1 euro and leaves you around 80 meters from the accommodation. Our host gave us all the information in advance, and every time we needed something, everything was solved very quickly through messages. The self check-in system is fast and simple. Honestly, there was extraordinary attention to every detail. Along the canal there is also an incredible pizzeria with an award-winning pizza chef. Pizza is sold by the slice and it is absolutely delicious. This place is truly extraordinary. We only stayed here between flights, but honestly, this accommodation alone is worth planning a longer stop in Fiumicino

Perfect stay. Beautiful flat, modern look, very elegant. Free water, juice and different cookies. Comfortable bed, pillows, Netflix. Nice kitchen with the dining area. Very nice and helpful Owner, who organized a transfer for us to the airport. If we need to spend a night in Fumicino again on the future, we will come back to The FlyHouse for sure. Highly recommended.
