Villa De Cillis Carafa

Beautifully designed rooms in a villa set in organic gardens with a view of Vesuvious on one side and Capri on the other. Spotlessly clean, wonderful staff who are incredibly helpful, booking taxis, sharing itineraries and recommendations and ordering food in. Lovely breakfast each day.

Все детали в этом месте прекрасны! Простая, маленькая, но точно красивая вилла! Вся мебель - винтаж. Все, начиная от дверных ручек и заканчивая люстрами прекрасно. Отличный для Италии завтрак: яйца, йогурты, орехи, сыры, фрукты, овощи, и вкусная выпечка, конечно. Невероятно тихо и утонченно.

Если едете на машине - надо быть достаточно опытным водителем. Дорога к вилле идет через очень узкие односторонние участки, где машины едут в две стороны. Ничего критичного, но важно знать.

The Villa is beautiful, with a lovely garden where you can walk around, sit and read a book (or lie in the hammock), or use the jacuzzi. There are many zones, with lemon trees, flowers etc, and it’s the perfect place to be if you want some peace of mind and inspiration. It felt like a Agatha Christy novel (but without the murder). The room was also very beautiful and inspiring, respectful of its history and surroundings. And of course, the hot tub was a big hit for our children, of 11 months and 6 years old (it also has a light bulb so you can change the colour of the water - parents will understand). And so was the jacuzzi, set in a private corner of the garden. Having enough space for all four of us in one room is also a big plus. The service at Villa de Cillis Caraffa was exceptional and I have never experienced anything like it. They helped us with everything, from booking rides, giving advice on places to eat or go and see. Communication was easy, on WhatsApp and they were also always present and easy to reach. They picked us up at the train station and gave us a ride back after check out (not sure if this is part the normal service or just something they did for us because of our lack of planning ahead). The proximity to Pompei and Vesuv/Vesuvius is obviously also a major bonus - and the reason we booked (and found) this place in the first place. I hope to go back at a later time!

There was absolutely nothing wrong with the property, but for a longer stay I would have missed being able to get around without a car. I do think many people who go there rent a car though, so for them it won’t be an issue. Also we prefer softer mattresses, but that is always the case when travelling, so that might just be us (this was the case with all the places we stayed at in Italy on this trip).

Très bien situé, très belle demeure en dehors du chao Napolitain mais très rapidement accessible depuis l’autoroute Meublé avec excellence et goût, avec de vraies antiquités , literie top, chambre vaste , confortable , calme , proche des lieux touristiques, personnel très agréable , disponible , de bon conseil . c’est vraiment très bien .

This is such an amazing place, the attention to detail was incredible. The staff are so helpful, I was collected and returned to the train station with my bag as I didn’t have a car. Breakfast was delicious and the view of Vesuvius was really cool

Everything is perfect

Villa De Cillis Carafa è un posto davvero affascinante. Una villa elegante, immersa nella tranquillità, con un’atmosfera storica e rilassante allo stesso tempo. Le camere sono spaziose e caratteristiche, la struttura è molto curata e il panorama rende l’esperienza ancora più piacevole. Perfetta per staccare dalla routine e vivere qualche giorno in una location unica. Personale gentile e ambiente molto accogliente. Consigliatissima!
