I didn’t get from the details that it was on the top floor of the building. Had my husband not have been with me I would never have got my case up eight flights of stairs. It’s also part of a residential building and all the other rooms are private From one of the apartments booming music played till gone 1am We were exhausted as had a long drive and went to bed at 7.30pm hoping for some rest…we had to take breakfast in the cafe next door which was ok but we arrived as a coach load of Marshall’s for a race arrived so had to wait for them to all be served & we were in a hurry to leave.

Nice room, great location in the cute village of La Thuile, by the river, large free car parking only a few steps away, close to nice restaurants and shops. Large balcony with deck chairs and amazing view over the mountains and the river. Very friendly atmosphere. The bed was large and very comfortable. Daily cleaning was perfect and the room was very spacious and nicely decorated, with a large sofa, a TV and a wash basin area separate from the toilet.

The main issue was that the WiFi didn't work, which was a problem for me, as I had work to do over my stay. The landlady promised to fix it soon. Minor issues also communicated to the landlady: no coffee machine (this was intentional) in the apartment, and the kettle in the room was mouldy. The breakfast offered at nearby cafe consisting of a coffee, a brioche and a juice was ok for me, but it might not be enough (or enough variety) for some people, especially non-italians. As a mitigating factor, the quality of coffee and staff at the cafe were great, and the cafe, located just beneath the B&B, is a nice and genuine place to observe the Italian "bar" culture and locals socialising throughout the day.

Really, it was all good.

This b&b is well located in La Thuile at walking distance from the old village and many restaurants nearby. The room was wide, with all comforts and two terraces on opposite sides. Staff kind and friendly. Private parking available. Breakfast served from 6am.

Breakfast is served in a bar at 10 m distance, good food but no home made cakes and local specialities.
