The views are spectacular and the river is a mere 100 feet away. The food was tasty.

The trip up the mountain. Narrow unkept road and a 30 minute drive from main raod.

"Just go!"

Words can not do justice when I try to describe this piece of garden of eden at the end if the world.If you are blessed you will get to reason with Ras Landi and maybe other members of this amazing Rasta family and receive life teachings. I recommend to stay at least 2 nights as it is 1 hour drive from Port Antonio. Bring your walking shoes, water boots, bathing suit and something warm to wear in the evenings.

We had an amazing stay at Landy’s place! Quiet, peaceful, comfortable and next to the mindblowing Swift River. Start the day with a dive into the river, enjoy a fresh and healthy breakfast, go into the mountains for a hike, have a chat with friendly locals and go for dinner to Elaine’s cook shop. All highly recommended!

Nothing important really. Prepare yourself for some tough roads to get there though.

"Breathtaking in all regards"

The hospitality was outstanding. We have not only felt a very warm welcome, but the hosts even helped me fix our broken tire right away, no questions asked. The food was amazing. Different fresh local dishes every day. The place is located in a small village right next to a beautiful river in the middle of the mountains.

Only stayed a few days.

Safe community & welcoming hosts. Step back in time to enjoy rural Jamaica in the hills. Delicious home cooked breakfast from Claudette’s Ital repertoire. Pack a picnic, choose a pool and let the rushing Swift River wash away your troubles. Bring your flashlights so you can walk down the road at night to have dinner with Inez @ Ida West. Bar & Grill; join in or just watch from the sidelines the locals’ spirited games of dominoes; experience the star studded inky black sky on your way home. Call it a night with crisp linens and sweet night breezes. Shared bathroom if other guests present. Sunshine on my shoulders makes me happy!

Could use a private guest patio area with comfortable chairs.
