TOGA GUEST HOUSE

I love this guesthouse. You can sit and watch the ocean and feel the breeze. Love that its Mary Jane friendly, even in the room and that was my favorite part. Felt welcomed on my arrival and throughout my stay

Even though I was advised of an issue with the toilet and that it was fixed, I still had some issues and had to turn off the pipe below ao couldn't use the bath room during the night. But other than that everything was great.

Alfio and Althea are genuine, easygoing people who were attentive to anything we needed. It's hard not to live life at a slow pace whilst staying here! Boots - the guard cat of the house - is a great example of this. He was always chilling either on the garden chair or on the porch ready to welcome us. Great breakfast with generous portion sizes. We took a plant-based option wish was fresh oranges, hearty porridge, delicious Italian seasoned fritter-type things, salad and cake. Me and my partner stayed in the en-suite room - the vibrant decor, and creative touches gave us the most authentic 'at-home' feel out of all the places we stayed in Jamaica. I'm a selector and played at the Sunday vinyl party (a must go), which Alfio kindly took us to. He sold me some great records at a reasonable price and I enjoyed all our conversations (and joints) we shared. I won't forget the peaceful last few moments of sunny, silent reflection we shared together in the garden as we were about to leave - with Alfio playing meditation music in the background - we left full of gratitude, on a high vibration with a special memory! Big up A&A. Would totally recommend Toga to anyone on a budget, looking to truly immerse themselves in the natural paradise that is Portland :)

Could do with a reading light/lamp in the bedroom. The house has a lovely old charm to it, but our bathtub could have done with a deep clean/re-paint.

Nous sommes restés juste 1 nuit, mais tout était bien, propre, chambre très grande ainsi que la salle de bain...

Schön eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Der Preis ist sehr günstig. Man kann fantastisches Frühstück dazu buchen und es gibt sogar eine Auswahl an leckeren Gerichten fürs Abendessen, dass man auf Wunsch bestellen kann.

The owners were friendly and helpful and provided us with everything we needed. The location is beautiful. It's a basic guest house with basic facilities. The host picked us up (for a fee) from the bus station in the evening which was very helpful. There was a common area and (Italian) food was available.
