Excellent location right by the lake and close to the entrance to Mount Nantai.

The bed was not very comfortable.

Amazing view next to the lake. Was next to the bus stop so transport was convenient too. Room was clean and spacious. Host was friendly and helpful whenever I had any questions.

This was my third trip to Lake Chuzenji and my third stay at the Little Forest Inn. My first two stays were excellent and so was my third! I reserved the same single room with a great view of the lake. It was simply furnished, extremely clean and had everything I needed including a private bathroom. The hosts were, as always, welcoming, friendly and accommodating. The location was close to the bus stop, cafes, a few restaurants (it's a small town), a small supermarket and Lake Chuzenji itself. I thoroughly enjoyed my time in the mountains and my third stay at the Little Forest Inn. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again!

A quaint little place just off the lake. You'll have some picturesque views of the lake, and surrounding areas. The room is small but cozy and well stocked (there are lots of brushes, toiletries, and snacks for super cheap purchase just outside the rooms).

I wanted to buy a beer from the little vending machine so badly but coins AND bills didn't work. I think it doesn't accept the "new" money, but that is all I had.... I was sad not to have a beer to watch the sunset with so we went to the local supermarket and grabbed some.

It's a nice hotel near Chuzenji Lake it has a good location not too far of the bus station and with some restaurants near, room was good a little bit rustic compared with Tokio but nice anyway. During the early morning you can see a really beautiful view of Chuzenji Lake and near mountains/nevado. You need to enter with no shoes, but they provide you a change and store the shoes in a good spot, most likely you will need Google translate for better/accurate communication, but they anyway without that will do their best to properly give you the ideas of the sorroundings and hotel that is really appreciated

You can hear the voices of other hosts guess walls maybe are thin so some noise can be heard

We had such a fabulous stay here! The location was perfect - right on the lake. It was super clean, cozy, comfortable and warm. Lovely tea and coffee provided and some chocolates. There was also extras you could help yourself too. The lady who owned it / worked there was so kind and accommodating, always smiling and happy to help. When we left she actually gave us some little cakes and crisps as snacks for our journey home, how kind? It was super quiet and so amazing for the price. I would definitely stay here again!

I did see online that previously there had been an Onsen there, which I couldn't see? Maybe it was closed as it wasn't quite the season / I'm unsure if it works anymore. However, it didn't ruin our stay at all, I just didn't know if there was one?
