AC was not cooling during our stay

Wir hatten uns wirklich auf die Unterkunft gefreut, wurden aber leider enttäuscht. Das Zimmer war dunkel, muffig und nach Schimmel riechend. Sauberkeit ließ auch zu wünschen übrig – Staub in den Ecken, ein unangenehmer Geruch. Der Außenbereich machte ebenfalls keinen guten Eindruck: ungepflegt, teilweise verfallen und keineswegs einladend. Der Pool war trüb und wir haben uns nicht getraut hineinzuspringen. Auch vom Personal kam kaum Unterstützung – man hatte das Gefühl, dass Beschwerden oder Wünsche eher als Last empfunden wurden. Insgesamt ein Aufenthalt, den wir lieber schnell vergessen möchten.

El desayuno está bastante bien, la piscina tiene buena pinta y tiene nevera.

La habitación y en el baño había muchas hormigas, además las sábanas estaban rotas. No está en Galle, está en el siguiente pueblo.

AC was working fine and the roof and windows were designed properly to keep the cool in.

Unclean - bathroom tub had dirty water filled in. 🪳 coockroaches comes out from drain if I keep it open. Pool water doesn't seem rightly treated. Pool towels were not there and bath towels were offered. Only one from our group decided to take a swim while others dared to do so. Though the AC is working its very hot since AC was not on by the time we arrived. It took 3 to 4 hours to get properly cool. The AC remote was not working, had to ask for assistance. There were no toilet paper. Asked again. Cups and spoons were set for half of the group. Asked again. Bathroom door cannot be closed. Lock is broken. Latch doesn't close (see images in ggl). Cloth rack has exposed nails, that rips your clothes. Provided towels were so used, but smelled cleanly washed. Bed is way old and sheets were staied. Pillow covers were washed.but not the pillows. Smelled sweat for a mile. Refrigerator was unplugged and was not cleaned. Decided water was filled in the catch tray. I cleaned thar myself. TV is there but it was not setup. Tried turning on, then gave up since I had to chase after the care taker for too many things already. Their bathroom only comes with tiny piece of soap. No shampoo or body wash. Water pressure was non existent. Wifi was working. They had two networks. It was choppy, but ok for Sri Lankan normal domestic conditions (not in par with commercial wifi setups like you find in a comparable place). Property is right next to the rail road and about 200 meters from the Galle road. Its noisy and you will be awake by loud trains,( starting around 4.30 am for me and ai kept up after that). Breakfast was ok for additional 3000 lkr for the nightly room price. There were no much selection. On arrival, I was asked to make the full payment and told what is there for tomorrow breakfast and was told the check out time. Hospitality wise its far down in the scale. Place is otherwise clean and maintained to keep basic standards, however not woth 9.

El alojamiento está muy sucio, con muchas cucarachas, ademas, los de la villa no entienden inglés y se hace muy dificil comunicarse con ellos. Las habitaciones estaban muy sucias (pero mucho) y les dijimos que si la podian limpiar un poco mas (ya que habian telarañas) y no les dio la gana. La cama es incomodisima y suena mucho, parece que te vayas a caer. Está mal ubicado y el tren pasa a 1 metro del hotel, lo cual, hace mucho ruido.

La piscina

El alojamiento está muy sucio, con muchas cucarachas, ademas, los de la villa no entienden inglés y se hace muy dificil comunicarse con ellos. Las habitaciones estaban muy sucias (pero mucho) y les dijimos que si la podian limpiar un poco mas (ya que habian telarañas) y no les dio la gana. La cama es incomodisima y suena mucho, parece que te vayas a caer. Está mal ubicado y el tren pasa a 1 metro del hotel, lo cual, hace mucho ruido.

Zwembad was een leuke plus, maar ligbedden lagen niet ideaal. Ontbijt heb ik hier niet genomen. Airco en ventilator aanwezig in de kamer.

Er waren veel lichtknoppen die niet werkten… Personeel sprak zo goed als geen Engels.

Tiene una piscina muy bien, las habitaciones son sencillas pero amplias y limpias. Y el desayuno muy bien, ponen un zumo hecho por ellos, y fruta tortilla y tostadas. Tienes baño privado y aire acondicionado

Llévate repelente! Hay muchos mosquitos!
