Ivy Bungalow

The stay was really great considering the amount we pay for the room. Rooms have every facility we need and most importantly the staff is excellent. Location is very close to NuwarwaEliya town, Abewela New Zealand farm and worlds end.

Limited parking facilities , but manageable.

My brother and I stayed at Ivy Bungalow for one night, booking a Superior Triple Room with 2 beds for 2 people through Booking.com. Unfortunately, upon arrival, we were given a very small room with one bed for the same price. Despite this discrepancy, we chose not to complain as we were in need of a room and had limited time to find alternatives. The only positive aspect of our stay was that the room was clean. However, given the overall experience, we cannot recommend Ivy Bungalow.

To our disappointment, the room we had booked had been given to someone else. Additionally, the condition of the room door was quite poor, and we encountered issues with the hot water heater (Geyser), which did not work properly. Despite reporting the issue to the receptionist, we had to wait for 20 minutes to receive hot water, which still did not function as expected. Even during breakfast, when we raised the hot water issue again, the receptionist seemed indifferent and unresponsive to our concerns. The only positive aspect of our stay was that the room was clean. However, given the overall experience, we cannot recommend Ivy Bungalow. We believe that for the same price, there are better options with superior hospitality available in Nuwara Eliya. This is the first time I have rated accommodation this low.

A parking space

The place was okay. The size of the rooms were good. The staff was friendly.

The bathrooms,the walls (specially comods) can be more cleaned. The effort they put on making breakfast was not enough as the english breakfast we had included few slices of bread with butter and jam,two eggs and two sausages with a juice with undercooked and cold potato wedges.

Place is very nice claim and quite. Food also tasty and for a budget package that was ok.

Friendly staff and Prompt service.

Room small and only had beds. A chair to sit would have helped.
