Ella River Front

Great views from a fantastic room they have very good facilities. Great home cooking, both breakfast and dinner.

Hôtel situé à 10 mn environ à pieds du centre de Ella, au bout d'une impasse donc très calme. La vue dégagée sur les montagne est superbe. L'accueil a été formidable par les hôtes. Le petit déjeuner était très bien en terrasse en admirant la vue.

L'hôtel a besoin d'un rafraichissement de ses installations

I stayed just for one night but it was great. The breakfast was delicious and even the room with the balcony view is nice.

It would be nice to have sheets in between the blanket. Sometimes some bugs can come in but is normal when you’re surrounded by nature.

The view from the room and restaurant was breathtaking. The staff were super friendly and accommodating with everything. It’s a short tuktuk ride from town. Thank you for a nice stay in Ella.

It was hard getting the shower to work the first night. I had to move the mosquito net to the side of the bed because it kept moving and woke me up in the middle of the night.

Very good value for money. Our stay in Ella was excellent. Ishika was super friendly from the start to the end of our stay, plus the breakfast with local dishes was so delicious! Location is really good as well. Away from the noise and caos of Ella center, but still a close walk (10-15min through a steep road-like all the roads in Ella) to get to main street with shops and restaurants. Ishika also organised a rental scooter through her neighbour for us.

Die Aussicht von der Terrasse vor dem Zimmer ist ein Traum. Das Frühstück war einwandfrei. Der Besitzer sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Das Hotel war, obwohl nur 800 m vom Zentrum entfernt liegend, schwierig zu erreichen. Unser hervorragende Fahrer hat uns bei der Abholung ein TukTuk geschickt da die Zufahrtsstraße sehr steil ist

The room was very simple but was clean and had a beautiful view overlooking the valley and the montains. The staff was really friendly and helpful, helping with organising cars or recommending resturants.

Sweet people

For me it is always about the people and the folks at this accommodation were so lovely.. the kindest ,sweetest people. The breakfast' was like no other just an amazing feast of traditional Sri Lankan foods,fresh fruits,yogart, we eggs,fresh juice and coffee. I started with a sunrise hike and returned to a feast!

A bit in disrepair but I know the economy is hurting and Sri Lankans have had some major economic challenges. To me it is always about the people they absolutely make your experience.
