Villa Salvatore

Villa Salvatore is an utterly charming property. Lovely room with gorgeous pool area and the added bonus of adorable turtles. Quiet and very relaxing. Jean Charles is a wonderful host.

You need to hire a car to stay here. The location is a little too far out of Essaouira - 13km. If we return, we will hire a car.

We (my wife and two young children) stayed with Jean-Charles over Christmas. He was an incredible host who made our stay really relaxing and easy, and he was just a great host all in all. It felt a bit like staying with a fun, free spirited uncle. He surprised us with a small Christmas tree in our room, and on Christmas morning, he decorated a tree in the garden with baubles and placed presents underneath for our kids to open. The kids were super happy, and it really made the our day. Jean-Charles and his mother have created such a lovely place and went out of their way to help us, whether it was booking restaurants or arranging activities. All in all, they made us feel completely at home, and we left feeling so well looked after.

Honestly, there wasn’t much to dislike. The space was great, and the rooms were simple and comfortable. If I had to pick something, the pool was a little cold, but that’s to be expected in winter—and the kids still loved jumping in! Overall, it was one of the most relaxing and memorable holidays we’ve ever had. Thanks so much, Jean-Charles. We hope to come back and stay with you and your mother again!

The host Jean Charles and his mother are absolutely lovely. They have a villa with two units outside around the pool and garden. We stayed in a comfortable 2-bedroom, one bathroom unit. The garden, various cute courtyards and breakfast room oozes charm. The breakfasts were delicious and the pool was clean and wonderful!

Everything wsa great. The host and his mom were exceptional. We had some great conversations and enjoyed the good breakfast. My son enjoyed the lovely swimming pool. I highly recommend this quite place just outside Essaouira.

Lovely hosts. Beautiful property. Our kids loved the animals (cats, dogs and tortoises!). They very kindly let us stay and use the pool area after check out until our (evening) flight home.

Beautiful and comfortable rooms with a welcoming and very helpful host. The swimming pool is a delight during the hot days and the tortoises in the garden kept us all entertained.

Everything about the villa is perfect. Beautiful garden & pool. Super comfy bed. Extremely helpful host.
