Sahara wellness camp

Everything's great..GREAT EXPERIENCE. If anybody is looking for a camp in the desert which give u a real desert evening..u have to choose this camp..staff,diner,rooms,beds,breakfast and position are top. We passed just one night, but the feelings we had...we really didn't want to leave. Beautiful night.

As it is incredibly difficult to find reliable info covering the different Merzouga camps here a detailed description (I stayed two nights): Location: the orange dunes are stunningly beautiful. You can easily hike into the dunes. Google location is accurate: https://maps.app.goo.gl/nZbr12UjdqupiCJT8?g_st=ipc Food: excellent and plenty food. Much better than what other camp’s reviews suggest! Same price as everywhere else: 15€ for each additional meal. Cleanliness: Even though being in the desert and sharing bathrooms with everyone this was still the cleanest stay I had in Morocco. Bathrooms were spotless and even smelled nice! Beds were clean! There are animals held close by and food being cooked in the semi-open, so you will find some flies buzzing about. Camp: By far more beautiful than all surrounding camps (I walked by them). It felt warm, cozy and welcoming. The others looked quite austere. Staff: very friendly and welcoming. If you are feeling antisocial their attempts to engage you might feel a bit over the top, but all in all excellent. At least two people speak English well. Activities: more or less same price as all camps. You will be informed about the package of 60€ for camel ride in, dinner, 4x4 back one day in advance. It is a bit short notice, but apparently better communicated than for most other camps. Sandboarding is free, day tour was 30/35€ pp. Don’t remember quad prices. There will be a bonfire and drumming in the evening. Duration: If you like some silence and are able to chill for a day, I’d definitely recommend two days. I added the second day spontaneously during breakfast.

These points apply to all camps, not just this one. Location: all camps are just outside the dunes. Apparently the government forbade being inside the dunes themselves. There are a lot of camps, so you will be seeing others 1-3 others. At the same time this means that the desert itself is more clean, feels more untouched and is more beautiful! Some quad tours can be quite loud. Communication: the common problem across all camps is missing / slow communication before your stay. Once you are there / about 1 day before, communication is great, but it is almost impossible to get questions answered beforehand.

- super bequeme Betten und große Zelte (eine kleine Ablagefläche wäre noch ein Bonus oder ein zweiter Kleiderständer) - leckeres und ausreichendes Fürhstück - Abendessen war auch mehr alss genug, frisch und lecker (aufpreis von 15€ mehr als gerechtfertigt) - Kamelritt in die Wüste zum Sonnenuntergang ein einmaliges Erlebnis (Aufrpeis) - bei Hitze kann man sich zum Pool des Hotels fahren lassen (Extragebühr) - Lagerfeuer mit Musik & Tanz auch ein tolles Erlebnis - die Gastgeber im Cmap sind unfassbar freundlich und zuvorkommend

Super séjour au Sahara wellness camp ! Personnel d'une extrême gentillesse avec un excellent service : tour en dromadaire, repas frais, soirée musicale, petit-déjeuner et retour en 4x4 (le package est à 60 euros par personne) Merci à tout l'équipe !

Really nice hosts. Everybody was super friendly. The food was also really good. Can highly recommend!

The staff was really nice and the experience truly special.

Omar and the team were great hosts. Price excludes transport, a package for camel ride to the camp, dinner and transport back by jeep can be booked for 60€ per person.

Kind of obvious but still not expected was that you can see and hear the other camps.
