A wonderful place to stay, The hosts were very attentive making sure our stay was perfect, a lot of attention to details, amazing breakfast, peaceful garden to be enjoyed perfect to wind down. Walking distance to the center of Puebla. Highly recommend.

This property is gorgeous and so comfortable. But what really shines is the hospitality shown by the hosts, Luis and MaLu. These folks feel like old friends from the moment you meet them and they genuinely want you to enjoy your stay at Luma. The absolute star of the Luma experience is the devine breakfast prepared and served by MaLu!! Words can’t do this exquisite bfast justice as you just have to experience it for yourself. Bfast is truly a labor of love and in my opinion should be a top thing to do while in Puebla. Folks, it’s that good!! Trust me. Do yourself a favor and stay at Luma when you’re visiting Puebla and say hi from Steve and Christhian. We absolutely adore Luis and MaLu. I think everyone who stays at Luma leaves feeling the same way!!! 100,000,000 STARS!!

Absolutely nothing!

I traveled to Puebla with 3 friends and we were all blown away by Luma B&B. The pictures are amazing but Luma was so much better in person. The rooms are large, homey, and inviting, and the beds are the most comfortable we've had in our travels. The communal space is so thoughful in ensuring you want to tuck in and enjoy breakfast, relaxing, catching-up with friends or planning your day. And the food is the best we had on our entire trip. Thank you so much MaLu and Luis for everything!

Todo maravilloso 😍 Fuimos a un festival, por lo que llegamos en la madrugada, estuvieron en comunicación y nos recibieron muy bien.

Abres la puerta de Luma y entras a un pequeño oasis; es un lugar al que llegas y te dan ganas de quedarte. Luis y Malú son anfitriones increíbles. La habitación era moderna, más que limpia, amplia y decorada con muchísimo amor al detalle. Un desayuno como el de Luma no lo he vivido en ningún otro lugar: es una verdadera delicia, fresco, preparado con cariño, tradicional mexicano y simplemente perfecto para empezar el día. La ubicación del B&B es céntrica, con muchas atracciones turísticas muy cerca. Aquí todo encaja: comodidad, servicio y calidad. ¡Definitivamente regresaré! Muchas gracias a los maravillosos anfitriones.

What can I say about Luma B&B? The kindness we experienced there went far beyond anything we could have imagined. When my husband’s COPD worsened at Puebla’s 7,400‑foot elevation—his oxygen dropping to 74—and he simultaneously came down with severe food poisoning, we were frightened and unsure what to do. At 11 p.m., we called the hostess to ask about the nearest hospital. Instead, both hosts got dressed, came to our room, and personally drove us to the hospital. They stayed with us until 3 a.m., helping us communicate when no one at the hospital spoke English and we spoke no Spanish. Without them, we would have been completely lost. The next day, the hostess brought me fresh vegetable soup for lunch and even asked if we wanted dinner served in our room so my husband could rest. Their compassion was extraordinary—far beyond what even close family or friends might do. We will always be indebted to Malu and Luis. Beyond their incredible care, the property itself is beautiful. Every detail in the room is thoughtfully chosen, and the interior and exterior décor are superb. Breakfast each morning felt like a celebration: lovely music, a gentle waterfall, and a beautifully themed table setting that changed daily. It was a feast for the eyes as much as for the palate. The location is also excellent—only 15 to 20 minutes from the Zócalo, or about US$3 by Uber. If I ever return to Puebla, I will absolutely stay at Luma B&B again. Some moments of human goodness stay with you forever

Excelente alojamiento con unos huéspedes encantadores. Luis y Malú nos acogieron divinamente en su preciosa casona. Tranquila y rehabilitada con delicadeza, las habitaciones dan a un patio con una vegetación hermosa y sus desayunos han sido nuestras mejores comidas durante la estancia en Puebla. Muchas gracias por la acogida!

Luma is the loveliest b&b I have ever had the pleasure of staying at. Luis and Malu have created a beautiful, restful space where no detail is overlooked. I particularly appreciated the comfortable bed and beautiful design touches. The breakfast is unbelievably good - I would return just for that!

La qualité de l'accueil et des échanges avec Malou et Luis qui veillent pour que tout se déroule au mieux durant votre séjour. Le charme de l'hébergement avec ses patios aménagés avec beaucoup de bon goût. Et mention spéciale pour le petit-déjeuner absolument parfait aussi bien concernant la décoration de la table que pour le menu offert incluant des spécialités locales préparées avec beaucoup de cœur et de sincérité ! L'hébergement permet d'accéder à pied au centre de Puebla en 20 minutes à pied.

Malu and Luis were very gracious and welcoming and had good recommendations for what to see and where to eat. Our room was spacious, nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. The courtyard was beautiful and peaceful - a comfortable place to relax after a day of sightseeing.  Malu's gourmet breakfasts were plentiful and delicious and the table settings were creative and beautiful.  It was a great experience overall and  we would highly  recommend the Luma B& B to anyone visiting Puebla.
