Really lovely staff. Banging breakfast- a great place to meet fellow travellers if you wanted to. Beds were so comfortable, I slept really well at night because the area was very quiet too. Loved the honesty bar as well as some free drinks and snacks. You were spoilt for choice on places to chill. Just a really lovely and relaxing setting.

Public transport links in the area aren't very frequent and stop early, but it's 30 mins on foot to the beach if you don't mind walking. The 8 bed dorm ensuite bathroom smelled of urine and the smell seeped into the room.

Beautiful property. Private room with the balcony was really nice. Clean. Great breakfast.

No AC. I left the sliding door open to get air in the room, and evenings were ok. A bit warm during the day. No privacy at night with the door open though. Property is also a hostel, so there are two different vibes going on. I’m not sure the two blend that well here.

Great outdoor area with the pool, table tennis, versatile breakfast over which you can easily connect with people staying at the hostel. Amazing staff who will help you with making your stay memorable, great outdoor yoga class, nice quiet area, chill atmosphere. It's a little bit far from everything, but for me it was what I needed and it was easy to get to the nearby cities walking or taking a bus.

beds could be a little bit more comfortable. It was quite short and maybe just a mattress I am not used to, but it wouldn't stop me from coming back!

The location was beautiful and quiet. It is perfect for someone who wants to get out of the city and enjoy the calm of nature. The closest cities, Luz and Lagos were not far and very easy and affordable to reach by Uber or bus. The staff was absolutely amazing and the place was filled with lovely and kind people. The pool is quite large and the outside area was very beautiful, perfect to spend a chill day at the pool. The breakfast was also delicious. While the price might seem a lot for a dorm room it is worth every penny and I would spend even more for a magical place like this.

Really nice breakfast and great pool area! The villa is beautiful and the surroundings are well taken care of. The hosts are super nice and help you with everything you need from recommendations regarding activities and the nicest beaches around to shuttles etc. I really enjoyed staying with Vida Boa Lodge and would definitely return. The dorm can be quite busy depending on the season, however, this is what you sign up for if you book it. The curtains at the bunk beds provide some privacy and there are lockers for each guest. They also offer nice activities such as yoga, cliff walks and pizza nights etc.
