Vida Boa Lodge

This is a hostel that feels like a home. The house is both spacious and cozy and the owner, Lilly, is very friendly and helpful. When I was there it was a bit cold so I was inside most of the time, but I can imagine in summer the poolside area is also a great place to stay. The beds are very comfy and the curtain gives you some privacy. It's not the cheapest hostel around, but it's worth it!

the accommodation is simple amazing, it has amenities of a 4 stars hotel, therefore its the best hostel I’ve been.

Made me feel like home. I met so many great people, the facilities are incredible it honestly feels like a 5 star resort. breakfast is also great and big variety. The staff is so helpful caring and nice honestly everything is so well thought out and beautiful. if you’re hesitating don’t!! you won’t be disappointed

only the location, it’s far from the city Lagos and it’s kinda tricky with Ubers (not many available) and taxis are expensive. bus takes very long and is not frequent… I would advise you to consider renting a car if u can! also Lily was very kind as to let me join her when she had a ride to Lagos ❤️

Breakfast is perfect! You have exactly what you need to start your day in the best way: freshly cut fruit, yogurt, bread, cheese, some veggies, pastries and even pancakes/waffles. The rooms are spacious, free locker, comfie beds, terrace, lots of space around the building and last, but not least, a magnificent pool.

I think that the room and the bathroom should have been cleaned more often. The amount of hair and dirt was noticeable and not pleasant, especially in the bathroom.

Great breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. Easy to meet and chat with other travellers. Beautiful property with everything you need and more!

The beds didn’t come with blankets - just a thin sheet. When we arrived there were no dry towels to use for the shower.

The staff was simply amazing, always taking care of us and happy to offer help or local recommendations when we needed it. There was an overall really nice atmosphere at the hostel in general with all the guests and staff talking and sharing travel experiences together. The breakfasts near the swimming pool were also delicious. Finally, we liked that everything was sparkling clean at all times (which can sometimes be a problem when you have shared rooms and bathrooms). We would definitely come back :)

Sometimes it was a bit challenging for us to get to Lagos since there was a shortage of Uber/Bolt drivers and they obviously didn't want to ride far away from the center to pick us up. This would of course be no problem for guests that come with their own car/scooter though and there is also always a possibility to order a traditional taxi service
