I had a wonderful experience with soulsurfcamp, from the location, facing the ocean to the apartment, cozy and quiet, a few steps from the beach, bars and restaurants, everything was what I needed. The owner was very kind from start to finish, with an upgrade from a shared apartment to a whole apartment just for me, to compensate for a small error in the description on the reservation, until the last day when they offered me a late check out at no additional cost, plus many other details of care during my stay. Thanks again to the owners and I hope to be able to return soon!

Nothing - this is the worst hotel experience I had.

At first, the room did not match the description at all. The ad says "The double room is furnished with a desk and a seating area and features a dining area, a wardrobe, and garden views" - NONE of that was there. There was no desk, no dining area, and instead of the garden view, I had a tiny window to the kitchen, making it look more like a prison cell than a hotel room. So it's a clear misrepresentation and a fraud. The host martin is the most rude and aggressive hotel host I've ever met. After I asked to change the room he started acting rudely claiming that it was not his problem but rather booking.com as he did not compose the description of the room. I wanted to talk to him and the receptionist Denis told me that martin was in his car. When I approached him he started behaving aggressively stating that it was not his problem and I could leave the hotel and sort out the problem with booking.com. He started raising his voice on me and jumped out of the car. I asked for a refund but he asked me to leave his property immediately and started threatening me (approaching me in a very aggressive way, calling me an "idiot"). When I was collecting my belongings he grabbed the keys from the table, and when I left the property I needed to look for another one as I had no place to stay. He blocked me everywhere, did not respond to any of my messages, and DID NOT REFUND ANYTHING. I tried to sort out the problem with booking.com but they did not help me with this situation and, I doubt, that I will use this service again. This is my worst hotel experience, and I'm taking this case further. This is a wonderful place for anyone who loves water and nature (event if you don't surf). You live practically on the beach, you can relax, watch waves, walk, surf, run or whatever you want. Martin and Dan are two positive crazy people who make you feel very taken care of every time. This place is simple and that's why it's great!
