GBLocation and nearby amenities: The B&B was amazing. There was plenty of space for off-road parking. It is situated in the quiet countryside which was ideal for us. The seaside towns of Setubal and Sesimbra are within an hour's drive from the accommodation. There are nice restaurants nearby. Rooms: The rooms were modern and spacious with ensuite bathrooms all done to a professional hotel standard. We booked two rooms as a family and were together which was nice. Furthermore, the bathroom was splendid and modern with an open shower and a new sink. Ideally, a curtain for the shower would be nice since the water can leak onto the floor. The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. I even had a dip in the pool, which was nice and warm. The room has air conditioning, but it was unnecessary for our stay. Hosts: I love Henk and Ann because they know many things about Portugal and even what attractions and things to see near Setubal and Lisbon. I enjoyed the breakfast, even Henk cooked us eggs upon request! Henk and Ann know a lot about what to see near them, in Lisbon and towns nearby. Ann even had a pile of magazines to show us. Henk even woke up at night to open our room since we could not find our key. Food and drinks I like the idea of a continental breakfast because of its simplicity. We were provided for breakfast with ham, cheese, yoghurt, ham slices, and granola which was nice. The continental food was pleasant. I especially love the fresh orange juice.
Unfortunately, the only downside was that the TV channels were mostly in German or Dutch, with no English channels. So some more English channels would be ideal. I would have loved to see more hot food options, such as sausages or baked beans
NLGreat location nextto Palmela - 2min drive. Center of Setubal peninsula Friendly and hospitable Belgian hosts; who are happy to share information and sightseeing tip etc. Very clean room and great bathroom. We had had bigger superior room. Nice and varying breakfast with fresh orange juice and fruits.

FRAnn and Henk treat you like family, anticipating your every need. The house itself is set amongst orange and citrus trees, far from the madding crowd. You will enjoy a swimming pool with jacuzzi jets on one side. Breakfast is great, with local products and features marmelade made by Ann from the oranges found on the domain. Close to Palmela, Quinta Laranjal da Arrabida will be your retreat whilst allowing you to get easily to Setubal, Sesimbra, Cabo Espichel, Portinho, Lisbon and more... My wife and I highly recommend this bed and breakfast and we thank Ann and Henk for their kindness and warmth. Laurent & Caroline
