Boerderij "De Verwondering"

Everything was in line with the other positive reviews. Was looking for a last-minute weekend getaway with the kids, and the place fitted perfectly. Warm welcoming hosts, nice farm experience with cows, horses, goats, and more, good breakfast. The room was spacious and clean. Also, great value for money. Would definitely recommend.

Shoes may get dirty if you go on the farm, and you dont want to wear them indoors. So it's a good idea to bring along extra indoor/house shoes in colder weather, as feet can get a bit cold without shoes. Heating does work fine, though, so just a heads up.

We're surprised a lot. Plenty of space inside, outdide. Cosy furnishing, clean. The lady was very nice and friendly. Probably the best accomodation during our stay in the country!

Our hostess provided a splendid fresh breakfast which was so enjoyable and even had farm fresh milk and homemade yoghurt! The peaceful surroundings and many animals gave a wonderful relief and respite from hectic life.

We had nothing to complain about!

I chose the place because it was in the middle of nowhere. Its clearly not aiming for the business traveller but the budget holiday traveller. I still really liked the place. The owner was very friendly he recommended a great place to get an evening meal recommended to me a few minutes down the road. Raadhuis eten en drinken. Morning breakfast was simple but more than adequate.

Nothing really. As its so isolated it would have been nice for an honesty fridge where I could have purchased a bottle of beer to enjoy on the terrace. Fortunately II brought my own.

The breakfast was a good Dutch breakfast with a range of choices. The place had the feeling you were sampling real Dutch life. A beautiful location and villages nearby.

We were a bit cold until we found the extra blankets otherwise great location/stay with lots of extras

Lovely stay at a farm. Great location in the country. Breakfast was delicious with fresh eggs. Nice and quiet.

Very friendly atmosphere and easy to park. All amenities available. Breakfast starting at 5.00 AM.

The drive to work can be very crowded. The room was relatively cold temperature wise. No shampoo in the shower.

A lovely elder Dutch couple own the place and they were very welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed our staying and breakfast. Thank you.

The room was not ensuite, bathroom was separated.
