The hosts were very helpful, friendly and very accommodating. Interesting to hear, from Roberto, the history of the area and how they came about opening a guesthouse in this tiny village. A real gem!!

"Great hotel with a personal touch"

We loved the personal touch here as Roberto showed us around his lovely hotel, which is modern and bright. Roberto and his wife were friendly and really accommodating, telling us about the history of the building as a winery (their family's business). The beds were comfy and the shower was great! The views were gorgeous!

"Beautifully restored winery"

Roberto, Madeline & the whole team were wonderful hosts. Couldn't do enough for you, very knowledgeable, helpful & welcoming. The renovation of the winery is simply beautiful with a lovely pool area. We stayed here for the Alma do Vinho festival & they very kindly arranged taxis for us and also let us try their own wines. Also were very thoughtful & brought me a birthday treat at breakfast.
