The owners of the house are very nice and they learned me so many things about the Netherlands. Also the guy offered me a ride to the nearest train station when I had to leave.

The confort of the bed could be improved a little bit. The quality of the bathroom is okay. There was some mechanical noise in the room near my bed.

Friendly staff. No nonsense. Open for improvement. Accomodating. Electric charger around the corner.

Shared bathroom, shower. Informed upfront though. No sufficient closet space.

The room was spacious and the neighborhood was quiet. You can park your car outside for free.

There are no shops around. You need a car. When I stayed, I saw many small flies in the room. Because I don't like small insects, it was not pleasant. The bathroom must be shared with the other guests.

Nice host. Free parking at front door, ground floor room which was clean, spacious, light and airy. Comfy bed. Quiet location for a residential area with great green space immediately opposite with an enclosed dog field adjacent and loads of dog walking opportunities. Short distance to a lake for a lovely walk. Easy access for food and supermarket. Felt safe and secure at all times. There was even coffee making facilities in the shared hallway, which is very unusual for accommodation on the continent. This was so easy and convenient. No traipsing across car parks, receptions and multiple floors with tons of baggage and a dog. Would work equally well for travellers with young children as a two minute walk away there was a park. I have to say I was really really happy with my stay here and consider it to be great value for money.

The only negative was the shared bathroom. Normally I wouldn’t even consider a property with a shared bathroom, however, all of the positives outlined above, far outweighed the minor inconvenience of having to go into the hall and share a bathroom.  For someone who makes two trips to the continent a year, with a pet, it certainly won’t stop me from booking here again.

The host was very nice and gave us a detailed introduction of what Rotterdam had to offer when we arrived. He drove us to the train station when we left and we had a great time to stay in there.
