The owner is really kind ! The house is nice and the breakfast was plentiful with a lot of different things !

There is smoking in the house and in the room where breakfast is served. This was a big downside and should be stated on booking.com.

So clean, lots of character, comfy bed, TV and drinks. Great location

After a friendly welcome by the helpful host, we enjoyed a well-stocked guest room with excellent beds. The bathroom is shared between two guest rooms, but that was no problem at all. The breakfast was great, with many delicacies to choose from.

While the guest rooms are no-smoking, and the host takes care to ventilate the breakfast room extensively, traces of cigarette smoke might be a problem for travelers with respiration problems.

I had to be in Tiel for a wedding and was coming from North Holland. I didn't want to come home at midnight,. so I decided to take a B&B. I can safely say I couldn't have found a better B&B. Anton and Clementine are incredibly nice and sweet people, they are very caring and welcoming. They give you your privacy, but are always happy to help with anything. I immediately felt at home with them. And their dogs Daan and Jackie are so sweet and fun to play and cuddle with. The whole house, including the guestroom, is beautiful. Lots of artwork like sculptures and paintings. Everything is very colorful, brings you back to the 1960s! So nice and in line with their pacifist and openminded world view! The bed was very clean and comfortable, and the bathroom/toilet as well. In the morning, I was amazed by the breakfast, it had everything: warm (gluten-free!) buns, coffee/tea, fresh orange juice, boiled eggs, yoghurts, every kind of fruit, all kinds of spreads (cheese, meat, hagelslag, etc). They even gave to-go bags so I could prepare a lunch for my trip home! So much more service than I could have ever expected from a B&B. Anton and Clementine are also really cosy people, very nice to sit and talk with. I wished I stayed more than one night and had more time to listen and speak with them. They have so many great stories and an inspiring outlook on life, and their whole house is durable (they use only solar energy)!! Also, the location is perfect: the city center is about 15 minutes away by foot, or hardly 5 minutes by car.

Nothing, it was PERFECT!

Everything - friendly host, beautiful, colorful home with well-appointed accommodation, delicious and generous breakfast, with an offer of a to-go lunch. The 'colour-wheel' stairway was the best.

It was a simply great stay overall.
