Ross and Michael were very friendly, loving and caring hosts. The room was very clean. The breakfast was very good, but it can be different if someone stays for more than one night 😉

If you have neighbors next to you then you can hear almost everything,.loud and clear 😃. I think it is a general issue in all New Zealand hotels or houses.

"Expensive for what you get."

The location was quiet and peaceful. Lovely well maintained gardens to explore and enjoy. The continental breakfast was most enjoyable. Plenty of choice and everything was fresh.

Given the high tariff we were expecting more from the room. It would have been nice to be able to sit outside our room but there was no cover and the reflective heat from the exposed concrete made it uncomfortably hot. We were told we could sit at a table under a tree but this was right beside another guests room. There were no screens so we did not want to open our windows and welcome in little bity insects. With no air conditioning our only option was a pedestal fan. It was noisy but we had no other options. Was a tired room in much need of a refresh.

Quiet location close to town with plenty of space for our dog to explore. Entertaining hosts, excellent breakfast and spacious room.
