Excellent stay thank you! Bath is a brilliant and fun touch with beautiful views. Breakfast was great for what we needed and thoughtful and bbq was perfect for our dinner! Comfy beds and food location with easy access to New Plymouth and walks around Mt Taranaki - would stay again thanks!

"Garden Escape"

Nice sizes efficiency for 2 with bedroom, kitchen/living space and bath. Comfortable bed. Washing machine available in separate building close by with drying rack. Felt like staying in middle of a botanical garden, well landscaped grounds. Nice views of hills with New Plymouth in distance. Very relaxing place.

It rained almost the entire time we were there and I was recovering from a cold I caught kayaking in Taupo so it turned into a break spot for us and we were glad to be stuck inside such a nice place. Convenient to relaxation and to hiking trails but not to restaurants and stores. Might be a good plan just to cook on site vs trying to run to New Plymouth to eat. We stopped in New Plymouth to visit Art Museum which was ok and had desire to head back.

Such great cabins with great views and Mt Taranaki to the rear. Great bath (with privacy screen) on the veranda! Everything was clean and separate building with washing machine/dryer. Breakfast in the fridge was just what we needed. Only some 800m from the start of Pouakai circuit reflective tarn hike. Thanks for a great stay

Not an issue for us as we knew but you do need a car!

Beautiful views and the cabin had everything we needed. Lovely extra touches leaving wine and chocs with breakfast things for the morning. The perfect place to relax, unwind and get away from everything.

Wish we could stay longer
