Secluded and tranquil Beautiful sunrise from upstairs bedroom

Das bislang schönste Haus, dass wir in Neuseeland und auf der ganzen Südinsel hatten. Wunderbare, ruhige Lage. Wunderschöne Umgebung, Konzert der Tui Vögel. Tolle Gartenanlage mit anschließendem Wanderweg, hervorragend ausgeschildert.

Es gab nichts zu meckern. Die Gastgeber hatten für eine freundliche und hilfsbereite Vertretung gesorgt. Wir hätten sie gerne auch persönlich kennen gelernt.

Prachtig huisje in mooie tuin.

De wifi was er, maar was niet erg snel. Wellicht door bergachtig gebied?

Lovely chalet in beautiful quiet surroundings. Pam was very friendly and helpful. Given a tray of delicious home made muesli, bread and preserves, eggs and fruit on arrival. Highly recommended.

Excellent design, wood stove, great views. Serenity.

A beautifully designed, well equipped hideaway in a setting of astonishing beauty. Peter and Anna have created a wonderful garden here while restoring the natural habitat in their valley where birds thrive. We saw seals and many estuary birds 5 minutes’ drive away and Albatrosses another few miles beyond that.

Having to leave

Absolute marvelous place to stay. Book for a week, you won't regret it. We stayed 3 nights and desperately wanted to stay longer. Not only are the views stunning, but the cottage itself is so very charming. We stayed during really cold winter nights and the fireplace kept the whole cottage warm -- and it was so romantic. We loved cooking in the perfect little kitchen that had all the amenities we could hope for, and all very high quality. There was even a fancy espresso machine but that's way above our capabilities! There was also a plunger coffee maker which is more our speed. Anna provided us with eggs, butter, incredible jams, fresh milk, homemade muesli, artisan bread, homemade yogurt -- it was a feast. She even went above and beyond and provided my husband Tim with gluten free sourdough bread and muesli. And that bread was so delicious I ended up eating it myself. The bedroom is upstairs in a spacious loft with its own balcony. Bed is huge and comfortable and linens are extra luxurious. The Bathroom is lovely too, very modern. And the shower is a highlight. You can slide open the door on the other side of the shower and you are showering outside! I found the whole place immaculately clean, and I am very picky. There are several decks for sipping wine or having breakfast. We had the most glorious time.

Absolutely everything! Anna and Peter have created the most beautiful accommodation to relax and unwind in. Hereweka is good for the soul. The setting is stunning, the accommodation so comfortable and we loved the indoor outdoor bathroom! Also, the stars! Oh and the delicious breakfast!

The location was beautiful and we really enjoyed the hike just behind the house.

It said breakfast is included but it could be mentioned that you make the breakfast yourself. We didn’t mind making the breakfast at all, but just to note.
